00:00 Welcome to episode 115 of Sorry for the

00:03

00:03 Delay. I'm your editor, Mia. This

00:06

00:06 [music] week, Shawn and Joshua kick off

00:08

00:08 the new year with a trip report from

00:09

00:09 Disneyland. Mainly just Shawn. He guides

00:12

00:12 us through his PowerPoint presentation,

00:14

00:14 sharing highlights from his trip,

00:16

00:16 including a gingerbread cookie that is

00:18

00:18 to die for. We also [music] get some new

00:20

00:20 whatifs questions, plus some upcoming

00:23

00:23 movies and shows the boys are looking

00:24

00:24 forward to watching [music] this year.

00:26

00:26 Enjoy the show. Hello and welcome to

00:29

00:29 another episode of Sorry for the Delay.

00:31

00:31 We are your hosts. Uh my name is Sean

00:34

00:34 and this is Joshua. And Joshua, this is

00:36

00:36 episode 115

00:38

00:38 or as I'm going to refer to it, the

00:41

00:41 first episode of the new year, buddy.

00:44

00:44 So, we got to come out swinging uh

00:46

00:46 because there are going to be people who

00:47

00:47 find us in this first episode this year,

00:49

00:49 buddy. A lot of pressure. A lot of

00:51

00:51 pressure. But like we do every week, how

00:55

00:55 are you doing this week, buddy?

00:57

00:57 You know, it's funny. It's a brand new

00:59

00:59 year, but it's the same old us, I feel

01:00

01:00 like. You know what I'm saying? I might

01:02

01:02 be [laughter]

01:03

01:03 I might be a little grayer. I might be a

01:05

01:05 little bit more slow, but what's new? I

01:08

01:08 mean, with every new year, you kind of

01:09

01:09 just maybe get a little I guess you're

01:11

01:11 supposed to get smarter, but maybe get a

01:12

01:12 little dumber. I don't I have no idea.

01:14

01:14 But, um [laughter] I'm happy that we

01:17

01:17 made

01:17

01:17 >> every year, buddy. I just lose

01:18

01:18 >> Yeah, I know, right? Like, do we really

01:20

01:20 generate new brain cells? I I'm really

01:22

01:22 working on that. Maybe that should be my

01:24

01:24 New Year's resolution is to figure out a

01:26

01:26 way to generate new brain cells. Sales.

01:30

01:30 I can't even say the [ __ ] word. Okay.

01:31

01:31 First, work on your vocabulary. That

01:33

01:33 should [laughter] probably be a simpler

01:35

01:35 New Year's resolution, but um yeah,

01:37

01:37 dude. I'm I'm feeling good. It's winter

01:39

01:39 time around here. I know it's cold where

01:41

01:41 you're at. It's a little chilly where

01:42

01:42 I'm at. And um but overall doing well.

01:45

01:45 Just a little chillier than than normal,

01:47

01:47 I guess. you know, can't wait till

01:48

01:48 spring summer kicks around on so then we

01:49

01:49 can have a a warm, you know, sun back on

01:53

01:53 us.

01:54

01:54 >> Are you enjoying the cold weather,

01:55

01:55 though? Because I know that it gets hot

01:56

01:56 in that studio that you have there. Uh,

01:58

01:58 is it still hot during this cold

01:60

01:60 weather? [laughter]

02:01

02:01 >> Well, you can't see the 6,000 lights I

02:04

02:04 have [clears throat] going on in the

02:06

02:06 studio right now. If you're just

02:07

02:07 listening, you would even know what the

02:08

02:08 [ __ ] I'm talking about, but there is a

02:10

02:10 lot of lights in here. And I think as

02:11

02:11 they, you know, they're on longer, it

02:14

02:14 does get warmer in here. So,

02:15

02:15 >> okay.

02:16

02:16 >> Yeah. Okay.

02:16

02:16 >> I think I think I think normally from

02:18

02:18 start to finish it gets to like a smooth

02:21

02:21 88° in here once we're done, you know.

02:23

02:23 So,

02:25

02:25 >> I will say during the summertime it is

02:27

02:27 fun to watch Joshua like after we finish

02:29

02:29 an episode uh take off his hat and just

02:31

02:31 be drenched in sweat. It is it is rather

02:34

02:34 entertaining to see.

02:35

02:35 >> Sean does get to see that. Yeah. By

02:37

02:37 then, we've already turned off the

02:38

02:38 camera. We're not recording anymore. I I

02:39

02:39 do get pretty sticky. I do get pretty

02:41

02:41 sweaty. Um, and and you know what's

02:42

02:42 funny is like I wear a sweater every

02:44

02:44 [ __ ] episode, even if it's like 90

02:46

02:46 degrees outside. Like,

02:47

02:47 >> dude, [laughter] like it's like, dude,

02:49

02:49 you could take the sweater off at some

02:51

02:51 point, guy.

02:53

02:53 >> Yeah. I don't know what it is. Doing

02:55

02:55 well. Doing well.

02:56

02:56 >> Good, man. I'm glad. I'm glad. I'm doing

02:57

02:57 well, too. Yeah, it is [ __ ] cold up

02:58

02:58 here. It's like It's mid30s right now as

03:01

03:01 we speak. It was like 31° this morning.

03:04

03:04 29 degrees this morning. Uh, it was

03:06

03:06 [ __ ] cold. Uh, but you know what else

03:08

03:08 is cold, buddy? What's in our cups this

03:10

03:10 week? Uh, are you sipping on anything

03:12

03:12 this week?

03:13

03:13 >> Yeah, I I'm actually am. And and what I

03:16

03:16 you know what I just discovered all

03:17

03:17 dusty under my desk since uh Christmas

03:20

03:20 is I have those 12 nights of drinks, 12

03:23

03:23 days [laughter] of drinks.

03:24

03:24 >> We never finish those.

03:27

03:27 >> I mean, that's kind of nice that says

03:29

03:29 something about us because that just

03:30

03:30 means we aren't straight alcoholics cuz

03:32

03:32 it's been more than 12 days since we

03:34

03:34 finished, you know, since we started

03:36

03:36 that and and I still have those left.

03:38

03:38 Um, so I guess that we have that going

03:40

03:40 for us. But I'm going to drink one of

03:43

03:43 the drinks that's been sitting on my

03:46

03:46 uh desk here for quite some time now.

03:49

03:49 And uh I pulled it out. I showed it off,

03:51

03:51 but I didn't drink it. And why not?

03:53

03:53 Let's give it a try. This is the

03:55

03:55 Straightaway

03:57

03:57 uh Nitro. What is the Straightaway Nitro

03:59

03:59 espresso martini?

04:01

04:01 >> All right. Going to get caffeinated up

04:03

04:03 in this [ __ ] Let's get it.

04:04

04:04 >> Yeah. So So Joshua was going to get

04:06

04:06 juiced tonight. I don't I don't know

04:08

04:08 where that's where we're going to go

04:10

04:10 with that. Um, usually I need less

04:12

04:12 caffeine and uh but I did I shook it by

04:16

04:16 the way too, Sean, just before you ask.

04:18

04:18 I did shake this before we started for

04:20

04:20 >> What is the alcohol content as you

04:21

04:21 poured that out?

04:22

04:22 >> I'm imagining it's like 50%. I'm going

04:25

04:25 to say on this one 50% for this.

04:27

04:27 >> Oh, okay. So, you are 10% off. This is

04:31

04:31 only a 40% proof.

04:33

04:33 >> Okay.

04:34

04:34 >> Uh, tiny little drink. And as one would

04:37

04:37 expect, it came out as dark as coffee

04:40

04:40 should. Um, or an espresso should. So,

04:42

04:42 >> it almost looks like Coke, which is kind

04:44

04:44 of funny.

04:45

04:45 >> Oh, it does. Yeah, it does look like

04:46

04:46 Coke. You're right. Okay. All right.

04:48

04:48 Let's give this little bad boy. It It

04:50

04:50 does smell like coffee, as one would

04:53

04:53 imagine. Uh,

04:53

04:53 >> good sign. Good sign. It's taking a big

04:55

04:55 old sip. Look at that. Delicious.

04:58

04:58 >> Oh [ __ ] God damn.

05:01

05:01 [laughter] I don't even think my the

05:03

05:03 white balance on the camera could even

05:04

05:04 keep up with the

05:06

05:06 the shake that I had in that sip

05:08

05:08 [laughter] right there. Holy [ __ ] Yeah.

05:10

05:10 So, this says vodka uh Stumptown cold

05:14

05:14 brew coffee accompanied by some coffee

05:16

05:16 lour. So, there's a

05:17

05:17 >> there's a whole lot going on in here.

05:19

05:19 And uh it definitely tastes like it as

05:22

05:22 well. So, uh cheers buddy.

05:24

05:24 >> In a bad way or a good way? I'm confused

05:26

05:26 cuz the face reaction was a bad way. it

05:29

05:29 it's a good way, but you have to be

05:31

05:31 ready for that like heavy coffee,

05:34

05:34 espresso. Like I wasn't I'm not

05:36

05:36 anticipating that at 7 o'clock at night

05:38

05:38 or whatever whatever time this is. We're

05:40

05:40 recording this. Normally I have this in

05:42

05:42 the morning. Um

05:43

05:43 >> got

05:44

05:44 >> So yeah, this is a different headsp

05:46

05:46 space for me at this time of the day,

05:47

05:47 but uh sure it's good.

05:49

05:49 >> All right, if you're into it, [laughter]

05:52

05:52 cheers. Go out and get some. Try it out

05:53

05:53 for yourself. Let me know.

05:55

05:55 >> Hell yeah.

05:55

05:55 >> What do you got over there, Sean? What

05:56

05:56 you sipping? What's in your cup? know,

05:58

05:58 I'm kind of taking a page from your book

05:60

05:60 uh for the last episode. I'm just

06:03

06:03 repeating uh what we've been doing for

06:05

06:05 most of the year. Uh so I'm I'm just

06:07

06:07 bringing back another cider that I had.

06:09

06:09 Uh I'm drinking again uh cuz I only have

06:11

06:11 one left and they're so [ __ ] good. Uh

06:13

06:13 but I'm drinking the Sled Sled Zeppelin

06:15

06:15 one again and that is a 2-B cider, Sled

06:19

06:19 Zeppelin, which is basically uh

06:22

06:22 cranberry juice with cinnamon, hard

06:24

06:24 cider, and it's [ __ ] delicious. So,

06:26

06:26 if you guys can find this wherever

06:28

06:28 you're at, I highly recommend trying it

06:30

06:30 cuz it basically tastes like cranberry

06:32

06:32 juice but alcoholic. It's [ __ ]

06:35

06:35 wonderful.

06:36

06:36 >> And great artwork on the can, too, by

06:37

06:37 the way. So, if you're just listening,

06:38

06:38 slide it over to YouTube. It um

06:41

06:41 >> give you give you a full little circle

06:42

06:42 on that.

06:43

06:43 >> I love the artwork.

06:45

06:45 >> Wow. Absolutely sensational.

06:48

06:48 And this is more of a uh a semieet cider

06:50

06:50 for those of you in the know. So, it's

06:52

06:52 not super dry, but it's also not overly

06:55

06:55 sweet. semieet. Right in the middle,

06:56

06:56 right in that nice middle ground. But

06:59

06:59 I'm gonna pour it into my cup. Joshua,

07:01

07:01 you want to go through the chat with us

07:02

07:02 topics while I do this because I can't

07:04

07:04 get straight into Okay, we can get

07:05

07:05 straight into the chat chat with us.

07:07

07:07 >> Unless you got something else you wanted

07:08

07:08 to bring up.

07:09

07:09 >> No, no. I I ain't got nothing else to

07:10

07:10 say. Holy [ __ ] I mean, my mouth is

07:12

07:12 still clapping together from this nitro

07:14

07:14 espresso.

07:16

07:16 >> That's not all it's going to be

07:16

07:16 clapping. Am I right, boys? [laughter]

07:19

07:19 >> My mouth is still stuck. Um, yeah. So,

07:21

07:21 the chat with us section is something

07:23

07:23 that we do on this podcast where we go

07:25

07:25 through a series of topics. Um, just fun

07:27

07:27 stuff that pop into mind in Sean's head

07:30

07:30 and we just sit here and we talk about

07:31

07:31 it and we also we always encourage, you

07:33

07:33 know, the community to chime in if you

07:35

07:35 guys want us to talk about something or

07:37

07:37 you want to comment about what we have

07:38

07:38 to say about these things. But, um,

07:40

07:40 yeah. So, that is what is going on with

07:42

07:42 the chat with us section. But, Sean,

07:44

07:44 would you like to read off what we're

07:46

07:46 going to talk about or

07:47

07:47 >> Yeah, I got you. I got you. All right.

07:48

07:48 So, topic number one this week is going

07:50

07:50 to be Disney Days volume two.

07:54

07:54 >> Wonder what that could be about.

07:55

07:55 Surprise, surprise. Uh, the next topic

07:57

07:57 is going to be New Year, New Whatifs

07:60

07:60 Plot Twist Edition. I

08:02

08:02 >> like that.

08:02

08:02 >> And the last topic for the week is going

08:04

08:04 to be lights, camera, let's get cozy

08:07

08:07 2026.

08:09

08:09 >> All right, I like that.

08:10

08:10 >> Hell yeah, buddy. Let's [ __ ] dive

08:12

08:12 into it. This is probably going to be a

08:13

08:13 little bit of a longer segment. Uh, the

08:16

08:16 Disney Days Volume Two. Uh, it's going

08:19

08:19 to be me telling you about my trip to

08:21

08:21 Disneyland, everybody. I hope you're

08:22

08:22 ready for that. If not, go ahead and

08:24

08:24 skip on ahead to whenever the chapter

08:26

08:26 says the next one.

08:26

08:26 >> Don't skip. Don't [laughter] skip.

08:28

08:28 >> They can Hey, free will, Joshua. They

08:30

08:30 can do whatever they want, buddy. They

08:31

08:31 can do whatever they want. Uh, but I did

08:34

08:34 something a little more special this

08:35

08:35 time, Joshua. Instead of having to

08:37

08:37 explain everything and like going

08:39

08:39 through and not having my thoughts

08:40

08:40 collected, I went ahead and I did a

08:42

08:42 PowerPoint presentation for us. Uh, I

08:44

08:44 don't know if it's going to work. It's

08:45

08:45 going to be the first time I'm trying

08:47

08:47 this. Uh, so if this works, Mia, thank

08:49

08:49 you so much for getting this all in

08:51

08:51 editing. Uh, and if it doesn't work, uh,

08:53

08:53 Joshua, I'm sorry. [laughter]

08:55

08:55 But, uh, let's let me let me see if this

08:57

08:57 works. I'm going to share my screen with

08:59

08:59 you, buddy. You let me know if you can

08:60

09:00 see my screen right now.

09:02

09:02 >> Okay. No, this is cute. This is cute.

09:04

09:04 >> Okay, you can see this right now.

09:05

09:05 >> Okay. This is like in book form. All

09:06

09:06 right.

09:07

09:07 >> All right. Perfect. So, you can see it.

09:09

09:09 So, if I skip if I hit this, you can see

09:11

09:11 the next picture. Correct.

09:12

09:12 >> You can see the smog in the in the

09:13

09:13 [laughter]

09:15

09:15 Oh, cute.

09:16

09:16 >> All right. So then, oh no, did I just

09:18

09:18 screw it up?

09:18

09:18 >> Is that a UFO? I might have even seen a

09:20

09:20 UFO right there.

09:21

09:21 >> All right, I'm gonna leave it on here.

09:23

09:23 So this is uh this is my PowerPoint

09:26

09:26 presentation for holidays at Disneyland.

09:29

09:29 So I went to Disneyland uh this

09:31

09:31 Christmas time. I didn't go for

09:32

09:32 Christmas specifically, but I went there

09:34

09:34 uh the 14th through like the 18th or

09:36

09:36 some [ __ ] like that. I'm not good with

09:38

09:38 dates. This is why I had to make a

09:39

09:39 presentation. So holidays at Disneyland,

09:41

09:41 buddy, are you ready for this? Let's go.

09:42

09:42 Let's go on. Let's dive on through it.

09:44

09:44 >> Yeah. So, as I showed preview to

09:47

09:47 earlier, this is my plane ride to

09:49

09:49 Disneyland. And let me just start off by

09:51

09:51 saying I flew first class. I've never

09:54

09:54 flown first class in any type of

09:56

09:56 fashion. Um, and let me say, Joshua, if

09:60

09:60 you've never flown first class, it is a

10:02

10:02 whole different experience, my dude. Uh,

10:04

10:04 it is it is titillating. Uh, it is it is

10:08

10:08 bougie as [ __ ] and it will make you want

10:12

10:12 to fly first class every single time

10:14

10:14 that you fly in a plane.

10:16

10:16 >> I'm gonna have to stop you a couple

10:17

10:17 times in between. I mean, I hate to I

10:19

10:19 don't want to mess up your flow, but can

10:21

10:21 you tell the audience where you flew

10:23

10:23 first class from,

10:25

10:25 >> of course,

10:25

10:25 >> just to let people know where [laughter]

10:28

10:28 >> where you started and where for your

10:30

10:30 first class trip? Because I'm inside.

10:31

10:31 I'm kind of laughing a little bit. Uh,

10:34

10:34 >> shut up. So, well, here, okay, so Josh

10:37

10:37 was laughing in his head, but here's

10:39

10:39 here's the thing. So, from Seattle to

10:41

10:41 San Jose, we flew first class. Okay? And

10:45

10:45 then from Disneyland

10:47

10:47 to uh sorry, from San Jose to

10:50

10:50 Disneyland, we flew uh Southwest, which

10:52

10:52 was not first class, obviously. Uh but

10:54

10:54 from Disneyland back home to Seattle, we

10:57

10:57 flew first class. So, I got to fly first

10:59

10:59 class twice, which is very nice, which

11:02

11:02 gives me the proper amount of time

11:04

11:04 flying first class to have a formulated

11:06

11:06 opinion on first class, and it is

11:07

11:07 wonderful. It is, it is lovely. Highly

11:10

11:10 recommend. Uh, if you can afford it, we

11:12

11:12 could not afford it. Uh, we got lucky

11:14

11:14 and we had a bunch of extra points that

11:16

11:16 we were able to use to score first class

11:19

11:19 on those flights. So, don't think of me

11:21

11:21 as a bougie [ __ ] even though I

11:22

11:22 am. Uh, but I cannot afford first class.

11:24

11:24 I will tell you that right now. It is

11:26

11:26 expensive as [ __ ] and for no reason

11:28

11:28 other than it being a luxury. So, this

11:32

11:32 is the uh picture I took from the plane

11:36

11:36 on the Southwest flight uh flying into

11:38

11:38 Disneyland for the first day of our

11:40

11:40 trip. And you can see Disneyland, which

11:42

11:42 is why I love sitting in specific spots

11:43

11:43 on the plane. And for those of you

11:45

11:45 wondering, if you're flying in uh if

11:47

11:47 you're flying south and you're uh you're

11:49

11:49 on the plane, you want to sit on the

11:50

11:50 left side of the plane to get this view,

11:52

11:52 right? Ideally, you don't want to be

11:53

11:53 sitting next to a wing or like a

11:55

11:55 propeller, right? Because then you get

11:57

11:57 the you get it in your shot. But other

11:60

11:60 than that, left side of the plane,

12:01

12:01 you'll get always get a shot of

12:02

12:02 Disneyland. It's really nice. And we

12:03

12:03 flew into Santa Ana, which is the more

12:06

12:06 laidback and convenient uh airport

12:10

12:10 rather than flying into LAX, which a lot

12:11

12:11 of people do cuz it's cheaper. Uh but if

12:13

12:13 you have a little bit extra money, fly

12:15

12:15 into Santana. It's a lot easier and it's

12:17

12:17 a lot less stressful. I'll just say that

12:19

12:19 off the bat. Now,

12:22

12:22 that was a lot of words. Let's move on.

12:25

12:25 Joshua, this is food and drinks, mostly

12:28

12:28 drinks. So, once we landed, we had

12:32

12:32 basically a free day to do whatever we

12:34

12:34 wanted cuz we weren't going into the

12:35

12:35 parks this uh this day. So, we went to

12:37

12:37 Dentifung. If you've never been to

12:38

12:38 Dentong, it's a dim sum restaurant. Uh

12:41

12:41 they opened one in Disneyland and we

12:43

12:43 were ready and eager to try it. I highly

12:46

12:46 recommend if you're going to try this,

12:47

12:47 get reservations because that

12:49

12:49 [ __ ] line to get in there

12:51

12:51 without a reservation was insane.

12:53

12:53 Joshua, you think the ride lines are

12:55

12:55 crazy? This line for food, buddy? No

12:58

12:58 joke. No joke. It took people like 2 and

13:01

13:01 1/2 hours to like ask for a table and

13:05

13:05 then wait. It was crazy. But we had a

13:07

13:07 reservation, so we were fine. We got in

13:08

13:08 there. We had food. It was delicious.

13:10

13:10 Highly recommend. Again, a little more

13:12

13:12 on the pricier side. So, if you don't

13:13

13:13 like spending money on food, don't go to

13:16

13:16 Disneyland. I can tell you that right

13:18

13:18 now. But

13:19

13:19 >> we're looking at food porn right here.

13:21

13:21 >> Yeah, we're watching looking at food

13:23

13:23 porn. This is uh this is shrimp fried

13:25

13:25 rice, by the way. And you're also

13:26

13:26 witnessing the uh leftovers of the uh I

13:30

13:30 want to call them baby back ribs, but

13:31

13:31 they're beef.

13:33

13:33 >> Take a picture of the done already. You

13:35

13:35 [laughter] didn't even like

13:36

13:36 >> Listen, I was so I was so [ __ ] hungry

13:39

13:39 after the plane, like after the flight.

13:41

13:41 I I was ready.

13:43

13:43 Like I don't think this restaurant is

13:44

13:44 going to use this in any means as a uh

13:48

13:48 advertisement of their food. Just

13:50

13:50 >> you never know though. They might they

13:51

13:51 might be like, "Hey, after the plane

13:53

13:53 ride, come devour some food." But

13:56

13:56 >> rice all over the table and [ __ ]

13:58

13:58 >> Listen, I'm a messy eater. What do you

13:59

13:59 want from me?

13:60

14:00 >> Adam [ __ ] Godamn. [laughter] Get a

14:02

14:02 fork, dude.

14:03

14:03 >> Get a fork. No, it's disrespectful, you

14:06

14:06 know.

14:07

14:07 >> Okay. All right. [laughter]

14:08

14:08 >> All right. Let's move on. So, here we

14:10

14:10 go. This is the start of some food and

14:11

14:11 drinks. Uh so the first drink that I

14:13

14:13 have in this lefthand corner right here

14:15

14:15 is their uh oldfashioned their version

14:17

14:17 of an oldfashioned which has like a a

14:19

14:19 Japanese uh whiskey that they use. Uh

14:21

14:21 I'll tell you right now I did not taste

14:24

14:24 the difference in the Japanese whiskey.

14:25

14:25 It just kind of tast tasted like whiskey

14:28

14:28 uh which like your bog standard like I

14:30

14:30 don't want to say Jack Daniels but more

14:32

14:32 of like a like a bullet bourbon or like

14:35

14:35 a not Knob Creek but kind of similar you

14:38

14:38 know. So, it was good. Again, kind of

14:41

14:41 pricey but delicious. That's going to be

14:42

14:42 the running theme of this whole thing is

14:45

14:45 kind of pricey but delicious. I'll tell

14:47

14:47 you that right now. Uh to the right hand

14:49

14:49 corner, Joshua, is a bag of gingerbread

14:53

14:53 cookies. So, these gingerbread cookies

14:55

14:55 and the one beneath that, the

14:57

14:57 gingerbread man, are like two of like

14:59

14:59 the most soughta uh

15:03

15:03 cookies for the holiday season at

15:05

15:05 Disneyland. Uh, the gingerbread man

15:07

15:07 cookie buddy had another line. There was

15:10

15:10 a line to get this [ __ ] cookie. It

15:12

15:12 was It is insane because they sell out

15:14

15:14 really quickly. And there's a good

15:17

15:17 reason for that. But I'm going to talk

15:19

15:19 about the first cookie first. So, the

15:21

15:21 the top right cookie, the bag of

15:23

15:23 cookies. All right.

15:24

15:24 >> Got it.

15:24

15:24 >> Those cookies were probably I don't

15:28

15:28 know, they were probably about the size

15:30

15:30 of the can's diameter, right? They were

15:33

15:33 good. They were good. Don't get me

15:34

15:34 wrong, but the hype is not there. I

15:37

15:37 would say pass on those cookies, but the

15:41

15:41 gingerbread man cookie, Joshua, that

15:43

15:43 cookie, that cookie changed my [ __ ]

15:46

15:46 life, buddy. That cookie, that cookie, I

15:49

15:49 can only say good things about this

15:52

15:52 goddamn gingerbread, man. I still have

15:55

15:55 dreams of this [ __ ] cookie. It is It

15:58

15:58 was that [ __ ] good. It was that good.

16:01

16:01 Uh if you can get it warm or if you can

16:04

16:04 warm it up yourself, my god, it's it's

16:07

16:07 an orgasm of a cookie. It is gingerbread

16:11

16:11 warmth meets cinnamon like kisses on

16:15

16:15 your tongue. It is by far the best

16:18

16:18 gingerbread cookie I've ever had. And I

16:20

16:20 don't hype up a lot of things, but this

16:22

16:22 in particular, if you are a fan of

16:24

16:24 sweets, it is not overly sweet. It is

16:27

16:27 the perfect middle ground for a cookie.

16:28

16:28 It's soft. It's delectable. That little

16:31

16:31 chocolate bow that he has on there is

16:34

16:34 Joshua. If I could if I could throw up

16:37

16:37 that cookie and eat it again, I would. I

16:39

16:39 would. I would in a heartbeat. So,

16:41

16:41 highly recommend the gingerbread cookie

16:43

16:43 after I've gone on a tangent there about

16:44

16:44 gingerbread cook.

16:45

16:45 >> Well, no. How did you hear about this

16:46

16:46 this cookie though? Like, did was it a

16:48

16:48 hyped up like or just

16:51

16:51 >> Yeah.

16:51

16:51 >> So, well, yes. First of all, listen, I

16:53

16:53 watch a lot of YouTubers and most of the

16:56

16:56 YouTube content I watch is about

16:57

16:57 Disneyland. So when they go out and they

17:00

17:00 try these things, I like to go and try

17:02

17:02 kind of the same things to see if their

17:04

17:04 opinions are actually valid for me, you

17:06

17:06 know, because like you could have you

17:08

17:08 could watch an influencer, you could

17:09

17:09 watch a YouTuber, you could watch us,

17:11

17:11 right? And I can be like, this cookie is

17:12

17:12 [ __ ] amazing. And then you go and you

17:14

17:14 try the cookie and you're like, the [ __ ]

17:16

17:16 are they talking about? You know, I do

17:19

17:19 not ever want that to happen. So I only

17:22

17:22 express my opinions on things that I

17:23

17:23 actually enjoy. And this cookie,

17:27

17:27 it's it's [ __ ] awesome, buddy. I wish

17:29

17:29 I had it to share with you, but I I I do

17:33

17:33 not. So

17:34

17:34 >> So the influencers influenced you to try

17:37

17:37 this cookie [laughter] is what I

17:38

17:38 >> I guess. So yeah.

17:40

17:40 >> Okay. All right. And the in it was a it

17:42

17:42 was a positive experience. So maybe we

17:45

17:45 don't have to hate every influencer,

17:46

17:46 >> particularly these two guys on screen.

17:48

17:48 You don't got to go.

17:49

17:49 >> Yeah. I mean, I wouldn't call us

17:50

17:50 influencers, but hey, if the shoe fits.

17:53

17:53 >> Somebody might say that [ __ ] I mean,

17:54

17:54 you're you're influencing these [ __ ]

17:56

17:56 cookies. So So you are now adding to the

17:59

17:59 influence of somebody

18:01

18:01 >> trying these cookies.

18:02

18:02 >> Yeah, you're right.

18:03

18:03 >> Case in point. All right,

18:04

18:04 >> next one, buddy. Let's go. Let's go to

18:06

18:06 some more food and a little bit more.

18:08

18:08 >> Some non eaten food. All right, John has

18:11

18:11 not taken a bite of this one yet.

18:13

18:13 >> I thought about this

18:14

18:14 >> or a sip of the drink either. Okay. All

18:16

18:16 right.

18:17

18:17 >> So, I thought about these ones. So,

18:19

18:19 those first ones were ones I didn't

18:21

18:21 think about and then now I'm kind of

18:23

18:23 thinking about I'm going to show this

18:24

18:24 off to Joshua. Like I'm going to show

18:26

18:26 him what we have

18:27

18:27 >> or like all the subscribers and

18:28

18:28 everybody that watches this [ __ ]

18:30

18:30 >> No, this is this is just for Joshua.

18:34

18:34 [laughter]

18:34

18:34 >> This is spec Everybody else can piss

18:36

18:36 off. All right. So, the first image over

18:38

18:38 here to the left uh is our chicken uh

18:42

18:42 coarse like it was a citrus chicken uh

18:44

18:44 with a potato leak uh soup and then uh

18:47

18:47 some green beans, some mashed potatoes,

18:49

18:49 and then a chocolate tiramisu back

18:51

18:51 there. It was delicious. Uh this was a

18:54

18:54 preset meal because we wanted to do um a

18:57

18:57 reserved section for the parade that

18:59

18:59 they do, the Christmas parade. So, it

19:01

19:01 was it was a pre-made thing. So, it was

19:02

19:02 uh 55 bucks. It was really [ __ ] good.

19:04

19:04 Like obviously sometimes when you go to

19:06

19:06 these things, you don't know what to

19:07

19:07 expect cuz you're like, "Ah, it's a

19:09

19:09 prefixed menu. I don't know if it's

19:10

19:10 going to be good. I don't know if I'm

19:11

19:11 going to like it." Uh, this was really

19:12

19:12 good. Uh, chicken was not dry at all.

19:14

19:14 Uh, the soup was [ __ ] outstanding. I

19:18

19:18 think the soup may have been the best

19:20

19:20 thing on that plate. Uh, followed by a

19:22

19:22 close second with the chicken and then

19:24

19:24 the uh, mashed potatoes. Uh, the green

19:26

19:26 beans were just whatever and the bread

19:27

19:27 was just whatever. Uh, the dessert was

19:30

19:30 relatively good. Not as good as a

19:31

19:31 gingerbread cookie, obviously, uh, but

19:34

19:34 it was still pretty [ __ ] good. And

19:36

19:36 then after that, uh, to the top right of

19:40

19:40 that is going to be the first drinks

19:41

19:41 that we had. Um,

19:45

19:45 and the [ __ ] I'm going to see if I can

19:46

19:46 remember what these [ __ ] were. Uh,

19:49

19:49 the red one was the Paloma and then the

19:53

19:53 blue one was like a tropical uh, like

19:56

19:56 coconuty drink. Uh, I didn't really care

19:58

19:58 for the blue one. Uh, but I did really

19:60

19:60 like the Paloma. It was a pomegranate

20:02

20:02 Paloma and that one was pretty pretty

20:04

20:04 good. Pretty good. I think you would

20:05

20:05 have liked that one, buddy. Um,

20:07

20:07 actually, honestly, you would have

20:08

20:08 probably liked both of them to be quite

20:10

20:10 frank with you, but I think you probably

20:12

20:12 would have liked the Paloma a little bit

20:13

20:13 more.

20:14

20:14 >> Uh, but those were good. So, those are

20:15

20:15 the first drinks that we had for the

20:17

20:17 trip.

20:18

20:18 >> The picture underneath those uh is a

20:23

20:23 turkey sandwich. It was like a turkey

20:26

20:26 holiday sandwich. Uh which was basically

20:28

20:28 turkey stuffing, gravy, uh a little bit

20:31

20:31 of mashed potatoes, uh inside of a

20:34

20:34 sandwich, which oh and cranberry sauce

20:36

20:36 as well. Uh basically Thanksgiving in a

20:39

20:39 sandwich, which I will be quite honest

20:42

20:42 with everybody here, that sandwich you

20:44

20:44 could probably skip. It was really good.

20:46

20:46 Uh but I think it was because I was

20:47

20:47 really hungry at the time. So I would

20:50

20:50 probably say skip it. Unless you want

20:51

20:51 the feeling of Thanksgiving again for

20:53

20:53 Christmas, then by all means go for it.

20:55

20:55 But uh the sandwich was just it was just

20:58

20:58 okay and probably you can pass later on

21:00

21:00 in the future. Like everything was good

21:02

21:02 about it. Like the turkey was fine. Like

21:04

21:04 uh everything mixed really well. It's

21:06

21:06 just it's just like I don't know. It's

21:07

21:07 just Thanksgiving in a sandwich. That's

21:09

21:09 all I can explain. It was It was all

21:11

21:11 right.

21:11

21:11 >> I can see it kind of just looks I mean

21:13

21:13 I'm sorry but it looks a little basic,

21:14

21:14 you know?

21:15

21:15 >> Yeah. In a little lunch,

21:18

21:18 >> you know what I mean? I'm just [ __ ]

21:19

21:19 it just sitting there and slap Disney on

21:22

21:22 it and it's fine.

21:23

21:23 >> Slap Disney on that [ __ ] Um

21:25

21:25 >> yeah, they should have burned like

21:27

21:27 Mickey into the bread. You know, if I if

21:28

21:28 I am the design art director, like I'm

21:32

21:32 totally burning Mickey's the logo on the

21:35

21:35 top of that. Maybe the package has a

21:37

21:37 little bit more fluff.

21:38

21:38 >> Yeah, dude.

21:39

21:39 >> You know, but like I get it. I get it.

21:41

21:41 Now that you mentioned that, I will say

21:42

21:42 the one saving grace about this meal in

21:44

21:44 particular uh was the little bag of

21:47

21:47 house-made uh potato chips. Those

21:49

21:49 house-made potato chips, dude, if you

21:51

21:51 gave me like a whole like [ __ ] five

21:54

21:54 gallon bucket of those chips, I would

21:55

21:55 eat them in a heartbeat. They were that

21:57

21:57 was the highlight was those little

21:59

21:59 housemade potato chips. So, if you're

22:00

22:00 going to get the sandwich, skip the

22:02

22:02 sandwich, get the potato chips, and get

22:03

22:03 a different sandwich because they have a

22:05

22:05 bunch of other sandwiches there. Uh like

22:06

22:06 they have a um a I wish they wish we

22:09

22:09 would have gotten it, but the grilled

22:10

22:10 cheese sandwich that they have there is

22:12

22:12 amazing. Uh so get that instead of this.

22:14

22:14 So just

22:15

22:15 >> at any point are we going to know the

22:16

22:16 the um are are we're going into this

22:19

22:19 like with a blank check because I'm

22:21

22:21 curious like how much that chicken dish

22:22

22:22 looks like 35 bucks to me. Those drinks

22:24

22:24 over there look like

22:26

22:26 >> at least $32. That sandwich probably 28.

22:30

22:30 >> So I already told you about the chicken.

22:31

22:31 The chicken was $55 a plate. Um

22:34

22:34 >> [ __ ]

22:34

22:34 >> Yeah. Yeah. cuz it was for a review a

22:36

22:36 reserved seating

22:38

22:38 uh dining package that I'll show later

22:40

22:40 on in the slideshow. But the drinks

22:42

22:42 themselves were 18 bucks a piece.

22:44

22:44 >> Uh so you can do the math on that. Uh

22:46

22:46 the sandwich itself was I believe $18.

22:50

22:50 Uh but you also get a soda with that. I

22:51

22:51 mean if that's any I mean sodas cost

22:53

22:53 nothing but you do get a drink with that

22:55

22:55 one and the fries or sorry the potato

22:57

22:57 chips. So that was nice.

22:58

22:58 >> Um but yeah you can run the tally

23:01

23:01 yourselves ladies and gentlemen.

23:03

23:03 >> All right. Oh, and also I forgot to

23:04

23:04 mention I'm uh this is pretty visual. So

23:07

23:07 if you're not watching on YouTube, slide

23:09

23:09 on over. Sorry for little a.live or

23:10

23:10 YouTube. Uh sorry for little a come see

23:13

23:13 all this stuff. Otherwise, you can just

23:14

23:14 listen to me describe them as best as I

23:16

23:16 can. Uh so moving on.

23:20

23:20 Uh Joshua,

23:22

23:22 left side on this one is another uh

23:26

23:26 you're going to run you're going to see

23:27

23:27 a theme here uh real quickly. Uh the

23:30

23:30 left side of your screen, buddy, on this

23:32

23:32 one is uh the Paloma again. Uh the one

23:35

23:35 up top with the koncha, the pink concha

23:38

23:38 right there. Uh that was a Mexican

23:40

23:40 coffee uh spiked with like I don't want

23:44

23:44 to say um kalúa, but it's like a

23:47

23:47 something similar to that. And then uh

23:49

23:49 it is a little tamalei down there in

23:51

23:51 that last frame. Uh again, the paloma

23:54

23:54 was delicious. That's why I got two of

23:55

23:55 them, cuz it was amazing. Uh I'm not a

23:57

23:57 big coffee person. Um, but from what I

24:01

24:01 heard around the around the block with

24:03

24:03 the old lady is that uh that one was

24:04

24:04 pretty good. Uh, I think it was one of

24:06

24:06 her favorites. So, there's that.

24:08

24:08 Tamalei, my opinion,

24:11

24:11 skip it. Skip the tamalei.

24:13

24:13 >> Tamalei at Disneyland. Come on.

24:15

24:15 >> Yeah, dude. It's It's hard. All right.

24:17

24:17 And so I should preface this by saying

24:18

24:18 the reason that you saw some of these

24:20

24:20 foods like especially the tamalei and

24:21

24:21 stuff uh was because Disneyland at the

24:23

24:23 time or DCA, excuse me, Disneyland

24:25

24:25 California Adventure uh was doing their

24:27

24:27 festival of holidays which is like they

24:29

24:29 have a little bit of like a a little

24:30

24:30 section of food booths and stuff like uh

24:33

24:33 think of them like almost like food

24:34

24:34 cars, like food uh trucks, but they're

24:36

24:36 in booths. So they have a bunch of

24:38

24:38 different ones. And so we wanted to try

24:39

24:39 a select few of them. And the drink and

24:41

24:41 the uh the coffee were actually ones

24:42

24:42 that we wanted to try and then we're

24:44

24:44 just like let's try the tamalei, too.

24:46

24:46 how good it is. And it is not. You can

24:48

24:48 you can go ahead and skip that. Uh I

24:50

24:50 believe the tamalei uh was like, [ __ ] I

24:53

24:53 think it was $9, $10, something like

24:56

24:56 that. It was ridiculously high for for

24:58

24:58 being what it was. It was it was not

25:00

25:00 good. Uh but to the right hand side, top

25:04

25:04 right, uh the one in the blue is a

25:07

25:07 slushie. Uh I can't remember what is it.

25:09

25:09 I think it's almost like the uh the

25:11

25:11 tropical drink again where it has like a

25:13

25:13 blue carousel, coconut, uh and then I

25:16

25:16 think it's vodka in that one and they

25:18

25:18 mix it into a slushie. Uh the one in the

25:20

25:20 foreground right there with the

25:21

25:21 strawberry and the berry, uh that's the

25:23

25:23 one that I got that was a sour. That was

25:24

25:24 a blueberry sour and that one was

25:27

25:27 [ __ ] amazing. We were actually eating

25:29

25:29 lunch at uh [ __ ] what is it called? Uh

25:32

25:32 the it's formerly the Cove Bar. Uh, but

25:35

25:35 I think it's just like the lamplight

25:37

25:37 like lounge bar area now. Uh, but that

25:40

25:40 that [ __ ] that sour, Joshua. That I

25:44

25:44 still have dreams about drinking that

25:46

25:46 that whiskey sour because that that [ __ ]

25:47

25:47 was so [ __ ] good. Uh, and it's not

25:50

25:50 difficult to make. I just don't know why

25:51

25:51 I don't I don't do it. It's just

25:52

25:52 timeconsuming. But it was [ __ ]

25:53

25:53 amazing. Uh, we also had lobster nachos

25:55

25:55 that were not pictured because as soon

25:56

25:56 as the lobster nachos came onto the

25:58

25:58 table, uh, they were gone, buddy. They

25:60

26:00 were they were delicious. They were

26:01

26:01 devoured. And I've talked about lobster

26:02

26:02 nachos before and how long it takes to

26:04

26:04 make them.

26:05

26:05 >> Lobster nachos before.

26:07

26:07 >> Yes. Yes. I've made I've made them quite

26:09

26:09 a few times and it's I know the process

26:11

26:11 and I know how difficult it is. [snorts]

26:13

26:13 So when they came out I just instantly

26:15

26:15 it they were gone. They were gone in

26:17

26:17 like 10 minutes. I swear it was amazing.

26:19

26:19 Uh and then the last image down here. I

26:22

26:22 think this is the last image. I can't

26:23

26:23 remember for sure on the drinks and food

26:24

26:24 one. Uh but these are four different

26:26

26:26 drinks and I'm going see if I can

26:27

26:27 remember them as well as I can. So, the

26:30

26:30 top left uh drink, the one that looks a

26:34

26:34 little bit more purpley, that one was a

26:36

26:36 sangria uh cocktail, the [clears throat]

26:39

26:39 one to the right of the sangrian

26:41

26:41 cocktail, the top right, uh that one

26:43

26:43 was, I believe, a grapefruit uh seltzer.

26:46

26:46 And then the one uh below that one to

26:49

26:49 the bottom right was a cranberry mule.

26:55

26:55 And then the one to the bottom left,

26:59

26:59 that one was a holiday cocktail. And now

27:02

27:02 I will sum up my opinion on the three,

27:06

27:06 excluding the cranberry or sorry, the

27:08

27:08 the Christmas cocktail one. The three,

27:10

27:10 the sangria, the grapefruit, and the the

27:12

27:12 cranberry mule. Those all sucked. You

27:14

27:14 can skip all those. They were [ __ ]

27:16

27:16 terrible. They were garbage. Not worth

27:17

27:17 the money. The goddamn Christmas

27:20

27:20 cocktail, Joshua. The goddamn Christmas

27:23

27:23 cocktail was so [ __ ] amazing. I was

27:27

27:27 so disappointed that I got it on my last

27:29

27:29 day at the park there because I would

27:31

27:31 have drank those every [clears throat]

27:33

27:33 single [ __ ] day. It was It was

27:36

27:36 basically the the seltzer that I'm

27:38

27:38 drinking right now. The flavor of like

27:40

27:40 cranberry and Christmas and cinnamon and

27:42

27:42 like just fruit

27:45

27:45 all mixed together and just the [ __ ]

27:48

27:48 perfect blend of spices. It was so

27:51

27:51 [ __ ] good, Joshua.

27:54

27:54 Makes me sad cuz I still I still miss

27:55

27:55 it. But everything else was garbage.

27:57

27:57 Skip it. Skip the rest of that [ __ ] If

27:58

27:58 you see that on the menu next year, skip

27:59

27:59 the rest of that [ __ ] Go for the the

28:01

28:01 Christmas cocktail. That's That's your

28:02

28:02 bread and butter right there, everybody.

28:05

28:05 >> Oh god.

28:06

28:06 >> I I really hope somebody from Disney

28:08

28:08 sees this right here

28:10

28:10 >> and offers you up at least one free pass

28:14

28:14 for

28:14

28:14 >> because I spent all this money on

28:15

28:15 drinks. Uh, I mean that and you just

28:18

28:18 love the place so much and and you just

28:20

28:20 drool over it and you talk so much about

28:21

28:21 it. You just love this place. I I feel

28:23

28:23 like if if if you could be reborn, like

28:26

28:26 dipped, like rebaptized, you'd probably

28:28

28:28 do it underneath like,

28:30

28:30 >> you know, what's what's the uh the

28:32

28:32 castle? The magic castle or what what do

28:33

28:33 they call it?

28:34

28:34 >> The Disneyland castle. You think

28:35

28:35 >> Disneyland castle? Yeah. Just dip you

28:37

28:37 right in the pond right below it.

28:39

28:39 [laughter]

28:41

28:41 >> No, Josh. I'll show you what I want to

28:42

28:42 be reborn as later.

28:43

28:43 >> Okay. Okay. All right.

28:44

28:44 >> So, let's move on. Let's skim through

28:46

28:46 this [ __ ] Let's go to the highlights.

28:48

28:48 Uh let's see some highlights, buddy. I

28:50

28:50 took this picture of Mando the

28:51

28:51 Mandalorian. He's going with his little

28:53

28:53 finger guns. Uh it wasn't at me, which I

28:55

28:55 was very disappointed with. It was at

28:56

28:56 the young lady in front of me. Uh so

28:58

28:58 [ __ ] her. Uh because I wanted Mando's

29:00

29:00 love, but whatever. Doesn't matter. So

29:03

29:03 these are some of the highlights. These

29:04

29:04 are all pictures that I took. Uh this is

29:06

29:06 the parade that uh this left image over

29:08

29:08 here is the parade. Uh this is Santa

29:10

29:10 Claus, the real Santa, by the way. He's

29:12

29:12 right there.

29:13

29:13 >> Yeah, he's right there. He's greeting

29:15

29:15 people. So, this is the area of the

29:16

29:16 parade that we were sitting at. Uh,

29:18

29:18 because we had the dining package. And

29:20

29:20 Joshua, let me say, if you can get a

29:22

29:22 dining package, even though the food may

29:24

29:24 not be what you want, the viewing area

29:27

29:27 for this parade, if you really want to

29:29

29:29 see the parade, which we did, uh, is

29:31

29:31 amazing. We were in front of not that

29:35

29:35 many people. Uh, it was like our own

29:37

29:37 gated off section, like our own roped

29:38

29:38 off section. Uh, and then what was

29:41

29:41 really cool is I I don't have a picture

29:43

29:43 of this, but uh, behind us. So, if

29:44

29:44 you're looking at if you're looking at

29:45

29:45 Santa

29:47

29:47 >> and you turn around, you are literally

29:49

29:49 right behind the giant Christmas tree

29:52

29:52 that Disney does. So, if you get there

29:55

29:55 early enough, you can wait where your

29:57

29:57 reservation is for like your your

29:59

29:59 viewing area and then you can wait and

30:01

30:01 turn around and you can watch the tree

30:03

30:03 lighting ceremony where they like have a

30:05

30:05 little little ceremony for the tree

30:06

30:06 turning on and you can see it right

30:08

30:08 there unobscured like in all its glory.

30:11

30:11 It was a little bit of like Disney magic

30:14

30:14 that was like chef's kiss.

30:16

30:16 >> So, this parade happens twice a night.

30:18

30:18 >> So, twice a night. So, uh, once in the

30:20

30:20 afternoon and then once at like 5:30. I

30:22

30:22 say at night, but like eveningish time.

30:24

30:24 So, 4:30. So, you could probably catch

30:26

30:26 it twice in in the night, right?

30:29

30:29 >> Yeah. If you really wanted to, you

30:30

30:30 probably catch it twice. So, it's it's

30:32

30:32 definitely worth it. It's one of the

30:33

30:33 classics. So, it's it's really fun. Uh,

30:35

30:35 and if you've never been to like

30:37

30:37 Disneyland at Christmas, then yeah,

30:39

30:39 highly recommend catching this parade at

30:41

30:41 least once. Uh, to the top right corner

30:44

30:44 over here, buddy. This is Cars Land. my

30:46

30:46 favorite land cuz I'm a big fan of cars

30:48

30:48 and they go all out. They deck it out

30:50

30:50 for freaking Christmas and there's

30:52

30:52 lights everywhere and it's [ __ ]

30:53

30:53 beautiful. Uh and so that's just the

30:55

30:55 Cozy Cone Motel right there. Beautifully

30:57

30:57 lit up. And then uh underneath that is

30:60

31:00 the It's a Small World holiday edition.

31:04

31:04 So little fun fact about myself buddy. I

31:08

31:08 do not like It's a Small World.

31:10

31:10 Surprise, surprise. You know, I just

31:12

31:12 find it to be annoying and just

31:15

31:15 repetitive and it just goes on for

31:17

31:17 [ __ ] ever.

31:19

31:19 >> Well, you're a big man. You don't fit in

31:21

31:21 a small world. So, it's just like that's

31:22

31:22 just what it is. You can't relate to a

31:24

31:24 small world.

31:25

31:25 >> It's tough. It's tough. But Joshua,

31:28

31:28 >> I rediscovered a love for this ride when

31:31

31:31 it comes to the holiday.

31:33

31:33 >> No. [laughter]

31:33

31:33 >> Were you picking like quarters up in the

31:35

31:35 water when people make a wish?

31:36

31:36 >> No, I wasn't. Are you

31:38

31:38 >> I can't even reach the bottom. I can't

31:39

31:39 even reach the bottom.

31:40

31:40 >> Okay. All right.

31:41

31:41 >> No. This ride, Joshua, at holiday time

31:44

31:44 is different because they don't they

31:45

31:45 don't sing the it's a small world after

31:47

31:47 all song. They sing a bunch of Christmas

31:49

31:49 songs and they go throughout the lands

31:52

31:52 and everything's all Christmas like

31:53

31:53 themed and decorated. It was by far

31:57

31:57 the best like holiday themed attraction

32:01

32:01 that I've been to in a very very long

32:02

32:02 time. It was amazing and I went on it I

32:05

32:05 believe I did it twice. Uh it was just

32:07

32:07 so it was so much fun. It was so much

32:09

32:09 fun.

32:10

32:10 >> [laughter]

32:10

32:10 >> Wait, could you do that because you have

32:11

32:11 like the fast pass? Like everybody else

32:13

32:13 had to [ __ ] wait.

32:14

32:14 >> Yeah, everybody else had to [ __ ] wait

32:16

32:16 like a bunch of bunch of suckers. But

32:18

32:18 yeah, we did we did have Lightning Lane

32:20

32:20 for those of you who were interested in

32:21

32:21 Lightning Lane. That's what they call

32:22

32:22 that [ __ ] huh?

32:23

32:23 >> Yeah. So, we purchased Lightning Lane,

32:24

32:24 but that was already included in our

32:26

32:26 tickets. So, it would have been a waste

32:26

32:26 if we didn't. So, I rode it twice. It

32:30

32:30 was amazing. And then the lights on the

32:32

32:32 actual structure itself are [ __ ]

32:34

32:34 breathtaking, dude. Like they'll have

32:36

32:36 little like uh little shows sometimes

32:37

32:37 and they'll do like some projection

32:39

32:39 mapping onto the actual structure. Uh

32:41

32:41 but the Christmas lights themselves were

32:42

32:42 [ __ ] chef's kiss.

32:44

32:44 >> That doesn't look cool. I mean based

32:46

32:46 like the little picture that you have,

32:47

32:47 it's clearly like downsized. I can only

32:49

32:49 imagine like in real like in real life.

32:51

32:51 >> Oh yeah, in real life, dude.

32:52

32:52 >> Oh, that would have looked That probably

32:53

32:53 look I get it. Looks cool.

32:56

32:56 >> Yeah, highly recommend. If you can ride

32:57

32:57 the train while doing that, it would be

32:60

32:60 your your [ __ ] little heart is set.

33:02

33:02 Uh so moving on. Uh, we rode the Haunted

33:06

33:06 Mansion a bunch of [ __ ] times because

33:08

33:08 that is another one of my favorite

33:09

33:09 rides. Uh, but every year they do a

33:11

33:11 little bit different take on their

33:12

33:12 gingerbread. I don't know if you know

33:13

33:13 this, Joshua, but the Haunted Mansion

33:16

33:16 gets taken over by Nightmare Before

33:18

33:18 Christmas. And in that layover, uh, they

33:21

33:21 do different gingerbread houses on the

33:25

33:25 table in there. Uh, so this year they

33:27

33:27 had a giant gingerbread house that had a

33:29

33:29 bunch of crows on it and the crows would

33:31

33:31 move and they would like make noises and

33:33

33:33 stuff and obviously when you go in there

33:34

33:34 it smells like gingerbread which is

33:35

33:35 [ __ ] great. Uh, but this is that uh

33:38

33:38 that gingerbread house and they clearly

33:39

33:39 not a good picture. I was on the [ __ ]

33:40

33:40 ride trying to take this picture. Uh,

33:42

33:42 but it was it was so [ __ ] cool to see

33:44

33:44 it in person instead of seeing it on a

33:46

33:46 screen. So that was fun. Uh, top right

33:48

33:48 is the El Matador. Uh we got to go into

33:52

33:52 uh Mater's Junkyard Jamberee is the

33:55

33:55 ride's called and they have all these

33:57

33:57 like cool like different themings and

33:59

33:59 one of them was El Matador. There was

34:01

34:01 also another one that was like a a punk

34:03

34:03 rock theme uh that I didn't put in here

34:05

34:05 but it was still [ __ ] it was so [ __ ]

34:07

34:07 cool. And like they use a bunch of like

34:09

34:09 different uh like like hub caps for art.

34:11

34:11 They use like metal like signs like

34:13

34:13 almost like Americana style things and

34:15

34:15 they just theme it to like Mater or cars

34:18

34:18 and it's it's pretty [ __ ] cool.

34:21

34:21 [snorts] And then underneath that is the

34:23

34:23 San Francisco uh the port of San

34:25

34:25 Francisco which is like the eating area

34:26

34:26 for DCA. Uh and I just thought that

34:30

34:30 image in itself is like super iconic and

34:32

34:32 it's really [ __ ] amazing to look at

34:34

34:34 especially at night like this. Can't

34:37

34:37 beat it.

34:37

34:37 >> What do they call that? What what's it

34:39

34:39 called again? This is called the port of

34:41

34:41 San Francisco. So San Francisco is a

34:43

34:43 city in the movie Big Hero 6. Uh they

34:46

34:46 just it's like a take on San Francisco

34:48

34:48 and Tokyo because they like had a little

34:50

34:50 baby. Got it. So

34:51

34:51 >> yeah. Yeah.

34:52

34:52 >> But [snorts]

34:53

34:53 really Yeah.

34:54

34:54 >> Yeah. No, you're good.

34:56

34:56 >> And then moving on from that. [laughter]

34:58

34:58 Okay. All right. I have to explain this

35:01

35:01 left hand image here, Joshua. This on

35:03

35:03 the left hand side, you will notice a

35:05

35:05 trash can. an abnormally large trash

35:08

35:08 can, buddy. There was only one of these

35:10

35:10 trash cans, and it's for the specific

35:12

35:12 purpose of consuming pizza boxes because

35:16

35:16 there is a a pizzeria, I guess you would

35:18

35:18 call it, uh behind this little stage

35:21

35:21 area over there. You can get you can get

35:23

35:23 >> pizza boxes. And this is the first time

35:25

35:25 I've ever seen a trash can that only

35:27

35:27 takes in pizza boxes. And I thought that

35:29

35:29 was I thought that was just just good

35:32

35:32 oldfashioned fun Disney, you know, just

35:35

35:35 trash can specifically for pizza boxes.

35:37

35:37 >> I mean, I could see other pizza places

35:39

35:39 adopting that. Why not?

35:40

35:40 >> Oh, yeah. I'm not saying it's a not a

35:42

35:42 bad idea. I'm just saying this is the

35:44

35:44 first time that I've seen it. Yeah.

35:46

35:46 >> Uh, I don't think a lot of people I

35:47

35:47 mean, some people can't read, so they're

35:49

35:49 probably just going to stuff their kids

35:50

35:50 in there and whatever that gets big

35:52

35:52 enough, you know what I mean?

35:54

35:54 >> Get rid something big in there, you

35:55

35:55 know? And then and then uh to the uh

35:60

35:60 right hand side is uh my girl Alice

36:03

36:03 obviously and then um the little white

36:06

36:06 rabbit

36:07

36:07 >> chilling. And this was on the small

36:09

36:09 world ride. So again on that ride buddy

36:11

36:11 uh they have like you go through all the

36:13

36:13 different locations and stuff like that.

36:15

36:15 But they added these things a few years

36:16

36:16 back where it's like uh Disney

36:18

36:18 characters like included in the ride. So

36:21

36:21 one of them is Alice in Wonderland.

36:23

36:23 Another one is like Woody and Jesse. Uh

36:25

36:25 there was like a Lilo and Stitch one and

36:26

36:26 it's fun to kind of like point the point

36:28

36:28 out the little Easter eggs and stuff. So

36:30

36:30 very cool. And then the last one down

36:32

36:32 here, buddy. I thought you would get a

36:33

36:33 cool kick out of this one. This is

36:35

36:35 completely made of cake. This is one of

36:38

36:38 the aliens from Toy Story and a few

36:41

36:41 blocks and then he's like riding a

36:43

36:43 little rocket ship. But this whole that

36:44

36:44 that whole thing was made specifically

36:46

36:46 out of cake, buddy. And it was probably

36:48

36:48 a good like 2 and 1/2 ft tall. Like it

36:51

36:51 was it was pretty crazy. And like the

36:53

36:53 amount of detail that was in it was

36:55

36:55 chef's kiss. No pun intended, but it was

36:57

36:57 it was pretty.

36:58

36:58 >> You should have asked me that. You know

36:59

36:59 that show, is it cake? Is there a chef?

37:01

37:01 >> No, you're [ __ ] Joshua. Is it or is

37:03

37:03 it not cake?

37:04

37:04 >> Yeah, you should have asked me that.

37:05

37:05 Well, now I know it's cake, but holy

37:07

37:07 like I just by looking at that, you

37:09

37:09 wouldn't be able to tell.

37:10

37:10 >> No. Yeah. Yeah. I didn't I didn't think

37:12

37:12 it was either. I thought it was just

37:13

37:13 like a sculpture. And then when you read

37:15

37:15 the little sign down there, it's like

37:16

37:16 this is made out of like a thousand

37:18

37:18 [ __ ] eggs and like 42 lbs of sugar

37:21

37:21 and [ __ ] You're like, "What the fuck?"

37:24

37:24 >> Yeah. [ __ ] cool. Uh, [laughter] and

37:27

37:27 then this just some beauty shots and

37:30

37:30 stuff. Uh, but the one I want you to

37:32

37:32 take note here, buddy, is the top right

37:34

37:34 hand corner. Uh, when you said, if I

37:36

37:36 wanted to be reincarnated as anything,

37:38

37:38 uh, this is what I want to be

37:40

37:40 reincarnated as is a Disneyland duck.

37:42

37:42 Because one, you get all of the food,

37:44

37:44 right? None of the calories, and you're

37:47

37:47 like living your best [ __ ] life, you

37:49

37:49 know? You're you're chilling under the

37:51

37:51 castle. Zero predators.

37:52

37:52 >> Zero predators other than people trying

37:54

37:54 to like catch you and take a selfie with

37:56

37:56 you, you know? Like other than that,

37:58

37:58 you're living your best [ __ ] life,

37:59

37:59 dude. So that's that's what I want to be

38:01

38:01 reincarnated as as [ __ ] Disneyland

38:03

38:03 duck right there.

38:05

38:05 >> And now we finally come to the end of

38:06

38:06 this [ __ ] This is the last thing I want

38:09

38:09 to talk about because it is it is

38:12

38:12 meaningful to me. Joshua, this this next

38:15

38:15 slide is called never been done. Winner

38:18

38:18 winner. So, this image is of Toy Story

38:21

38:21 Midway Mania. This is the uh the ride at

38:25

38:25 DCA where you can shoot things uh and,

38:28

38:28 you know, help the Toy Story characters,

38:31

38:31 you know, play a game. So, Joshua,

38:34

38:34 >> I got a high score, buddy. My score is

38:35

38:35 on the right hand side. I'm player two

38:37

38:37 in this situation. Uh you can see here I

38:40

38:40 had 200,

38:42

38:42 227,970

38:45

38:45 points. All right.

38:46

38:46 >> Okay. But was it enough, Joshua? My goal

38:48

38:48 on this ride every time is to get the

38:51

38:51 highest in the vehicle or to get the

38:53

38:53 highest for the hour. I just want to be

38:56

38:56 on the leaderboard, buddy. I want to be

38:57

38:57 on the leaderboard. So, Joshua, I'm

38:58

38:58 going to ask you the question. Do you

38:59

38:59 think I made it to the leaderboard?

39:02

39:02 >> Well, you said I mean, before you said

39:04

39:04 this is like very meaningful for you,

39:07

39:07 and we're putting this up on the podcast

39:09

39:09 for the world to see, so I'm going to

39:11

39:11 have to go with you successfully

39:14

39:14 accomplish your challenge. Joshua, I did

39:16

39:16 not. I I did not.

39:18

39:18 >> What?

39:19

39:19 >> Yeah. No. No, I'm just kidding, buddy. I

39:21

39:21 was I was I was the best in the vehicle

39:24

39:24 for that moment. That specific

39:27

39:27 [laughter] like you can see it here.

39:28

39:28 Like I was not there. I was not the best

39:30

39:30 in the vehicle for the hour or the day.

39:32

39:32 But for that vehicle, for that moment, I

39:34

39:34 was the best in the vehicle. Best in the

39:35

39:35 vehicle. [laughter]

39:37

39:37 >> I was happy. I was happy.

39:39

39:39 >> Damn. Look at best this month. Holy

39:40

39:40 [ __ ] That person right there was

39:42

39:42 >> best this month. Yeah. 99. They I think

39:44

39:44 they cheat. I think they find a way to

39:46

39:46 cheat this [ __ ]

39:47

39:47 >> Yeah, I've [clears throat] seen those

39:48

39:48 videos on YouTube. There's ways around

39:50

39:50 that [ __ ]

39:51

39:51 >> Exactly. So, now here's a quote that I

39:53

39:53 want to read from a very

39:54

39:54 >> personal person that I wrote this quote

39:57

39:57 from. Uh it says, "They say you're only

39:60

39:60 good once, but a legend if you can

40:02

40:02 duplicate it." Obviously, I said that

40:04

40:04 because I just said it to you, Joshua.

40:08

40:08 >> Yes, Sean. [laughter]

40:09

40:09 >> Oh, no. Did this one not load? Oh, no.

40:13

40:13 >> That's okay. It's fine.

40:14

40:14 >> There it is. We got

40:15

40:15 >> right here, buddy. Have

40:16

40:16 >> Check it out. I did it again, buddy. I

40:19

40:19 was the best in the vehicle. But not

40:21

40:21 only was I the best in the vehicle this

40:22

40:22 time, Joshua,

40:24

40:24 >> I was the best this hour. And you can

40:26

40:26 see here I had 247,870

40:30

40:30 points, uh, which was great for best

40:32

40:32 this hour. So, I did it, buddy. I did

40:34

40:34 it. I I am I am a legend. And, um, I

40:38

40:38 want to thank God and I want to thank,

40:39

40:39 uh, my sponsors. And uh you know, I

40:42

40:42 couldn't have done it without uh without

40:44

40:44 this podcast, without you, buddy. So, I

40:45

40:45 appreciate you. Thank you. Thank you for

40:46

40:46 everything you've done. Uh I want to

40:48

40:48 also thank the old lady for allowing me

40:49

40:49 to win. Uh I know she tried her best,

40:51

40:51 but you know, you can't beat you can't

40:53

40:53 beat a legend. What can I say? You know,

40:56

40:56 >> and that concludes

40:58

40:58 that concludes my trip report, buddy.

41:00

41:00 I'm out of breath. I'm tired. Uh what do

41:03

41:03 you say to all that, my guy?

41:06

41:06 >> No, I was gonna say, well, you can't be

41:07

41:07 a legend without the right kind of prep.

41:08

41:08 So, the fact that you flew first class

41:12

41:12 um and you had the right kind of food,

41:14

41:14 you know, you had the right kind of

41:15

41:15 calories,

41:16

41:16 >> you had the right kind of hydration

41:18

41:18 program

41:19

41:19 >> and [laughter] uh you had the right kind

41:21

41:21 of entertainment. Santa was there on

41:23

41:23 your side. It was the magical se, you

41:25

41:25 know, the season was magical. I think

41:27

41:27 the stars truly align. The universe came

41:29

41:29 together for you

41:30

41:30 >> and I'm happy that that all the

41:33

41:33 preparation paid off at least twice that

41:35

41:35 day.

41:35

41:35 >> Thank you, buddy. I appreciate it.

41:37

41:37 Appreciate you. appreciate you so much

41:39

41:39 because you're right. You know, just

41:40

41:40 like a true athlete, you know, I had to

41:42

41:42 I had to take the proper steps and I had

41:44

41:44 to get the the grace of Santa, my God,

41:47

41:47 uh to allow me that victory. So, I

41:49

41:49 appreciate that. I

41:50

41:50 >> I think for this, you deserve an award,

41:52

41:52 Sean. And I bought this award a while

41:54

41:54 ago. [laughter] Um I bought it a while

41:57

41:57 ago, but now I feel like this is a

41:59

41:59 really good time to pull this award out.

42:02

42:02 >> I'm so [ __ ] scared right now.

42:04

42:04 >> Give me [laughter] a minute. I'll I'll

42:06

42:06 give you a minute. I'll give you a

42:07

42:07 minute. Give me a minute. Give you a

42:08

42:08 minute. Go ahead and give this award

42:09

42:09 here.

42:10

42:10 >> Let's give him a minute real quick here.

42:12

42:12 [laughter]

42:12

42:12 >> All right, Sean.

42:14

42:14 >> No, I'm ready.

42:15

42:15 >> I had to go.

42:16

42:16 >> I had to dig deep for this one.

42:18

42:18 >> But I feel

42:18

42:18 >> I saw He did have to dig deep for this.

42:20

42:20 I saw it.

42:21

42:21 >> I feel like you have truly earned this

42:23

42:23 award

42:24

42:24 >> and I've been waiting to give this to

42:25

42:25 you or anybody else that's come along on

42:27

42:27 this podcast. But

42:29

42:29 >> today on this episode J on January 6,

42:34

42:34 206

42:36

42:36 >> 26,

42:37

42:37 >> you have earned the alltime.

42:41

42:41 >> You [laughter] are

42:42

42:42 >> the goat award.

42:43

42:43 >> The goat Sean, you are [laughter]

42:46

42:46 you are the goat, Sean.

42:48

42:48 >> Oh my god. That is amazing. Again, I

42:51

42:51 want I want to thank my sponsors. I want

42:53

42:53 to thank Santa, my god. Uh, you know,

42:56

42:56 [laughter] just want to thank everybody

42:58

42:58 on this podcast. Thank you, Mia. Uh,

43:01

43:01 thank you, uh, to our listeners. Thank

43:02

43:02 you to our viewers. We appreciate it.

43:04

43:04 Uh, I will accept this honor. I'm being

43:07

43:07 Joshua. They're playing music. I'm being

43:08

43:08 I'm being brought off the stage now. Uh,

43:10

43:10 [laughter]

43:12

43:12 let's go ahead and get the AI song,

43:13

43:13 buddy. I let you take the first AI song

43:16

43:16 of the week. Joshua, do you want to

43:17

43:17 describe it in any way before we start

43:19

43:19 it off?

43:19

43:19 >> Um, no. And I'm not going to say if this

43:22

43:22 was a viewer submission or not either.

43:25

43:25 I'm just going to go right out there and

43:26

43:26 say this is just a um another one of our

43:29

43:29 fantastic AI generated songs and I hope

43:32

43:32 everybody listening or watching enjoys

43:34

43:34 it.

43:35

43:35 >> All right, this song is called Wreck on

43:37

43:37 Wheels. And Joshua, I'm going to share

43:38

43:38 my screen with you. Uh you're going to

43:39

43:39 be the only one who can see this.

43:40

43:40 Everybody else will just get uh will get

43:42

43:42 the audio version of this. But uh I'm

43:44

43:44 going to play this version, buddy. Uh

43:46

43:46 which is the one with the little lyrics

43:47

43:47 and stuff on it. So, uh, here it is. I,

43:51

43:51 uh, A Wreck on Wheels, uh, by Joshua.

43:56

43:56 >> I was a wreck on wheels. You were a

43:60

43:60 storm in heels. We met in the middle of

44:04

44:04 nowhere

44:06

44:06 and it felt like home.

44:08

44:08 >> I was drowning in my own head space. You

44:12

44:12 showed [music] up like a car crash with

44:14

44:14 grace. Told me love ain't clean. It's a

44:17

44:17 beautiful mess. Now I'm [music] bleeding

44:19

44:19 in verses, but I'm feeling less

44:21

44:21 stressed.

44:22

44:22 >> You kiss my scars like they were sacred

44:25

44:25 [singing] lines. Told me broken [music]

44:26

44:26 clock still tell time. You're the chaos.

44:30

44:30 I crave the calm in my ra the [music]

44:33

44:33 ink in my pen. The fire on my page.

44:38

44:38 Crashing to me.

44:41

44:41 [music] Don't pull away.

44:45

44:45 better

44:47

44:47 than [music] miles away.

44:51

44:51 I'll take your pain.

44:54

44:54 [music] You take my shame.

44:58

44:58 We're not perfect,

45:00

45:00 but we're not afraid. [music]

45:05

45:05 I was a wildfire with no name. You were

45:09

45:09 the boy [music] who danced in the flame.

45:12

45:12 I've been burned. I've been [singing]

45:14

45:14 blamed, but you held me like I wasn't

45:17

45:17 ashamed.

45:18

45:18 >> You see the wreckage and still stay

45:20

45:20 close. [music] You me ping cigarette

45:23

45:23 smoke. I'm not your cure, but I'll be

45:27

45:27 your fine.

45:29

45:29 We'll scream our love through the night.

45:31

45:31 [music]

45:34

45:34 crash into me.

45:37

45:37 Don't pull away. [music]

45:41

45:41 We're better

45:43

45:43 than miles away. [music]

45:47

45:47 I'll take you

45:52

45:52 [music]

45:56

45:56 [music and singing]

45:58

45:58 away.

46:03

46:03 But I'm yours. I'm not [music] here. But

46:06

46:06 I

46:08

46:08 will resue resto

46:15

46:15 [music]

46:24

46:24 me.

46:27

46:27 Don't pull away.

46:30

46:30 were better bruised [music]

46:32

46:32 than miles away.

46:36

46:36 I'll take your [music] pain.

46:38

46:38 >> I'll take your pain.

46:40

46:40 >> You take my shame.

46:43

46:43 We're not [music] perfect,

46:46

46:46 but we're not afraid.

46:51

46:51 [music]

46:51

46:51 >> All right. There you go, buddy.

46:53

46:53 >> No, buddy.

46:54

46:54 >> All right. What' you think?

46:55

46:55 >> That was It was pretty good. I enjoyed

46:58

46:58 that one a lot. [laughter] Another good

46:59

46:59 one, right?

47:00

47:00 >> Yeah, another banger, man.

47:02

47:02 >> Add it to the list of bangers on there.

47:04

47:04 Sorry for the late life radio. Uh you

47:06

47:06 can listen to that song in its entirety

47:07

47:07 again if you want to. Yeah, that's a

47:09

47:09 good one. I [ __ ] enjoyed that. So,

47:10

47:10 was that a a viewer suggestion?

47:12

47:12 >> Yeah. Yeah, there there was there was

47:14

47:14 some uh um uh

47:16

47:16 >> collaboration. You say it. There was

47:17

47:17 some collaboration involved in that one,

47:19

47:19 but not a bad way, I would say, to start

47:20

47:20 off the brand new year.

47:22

47:22 >> Yeah, man. Yeah, I feel that. I felt

47:24

47:24 felt [ __ ] felt good. I feel good

47:27

47:27 about listening to that. I'm going to

47:28

47:28 listen to that one again when I go to

47:29

47:29 sleep. So,

47:30

47:30 >> I mean, I don't know what year we're in,

47:31

47:31 but Sean, I just want to say once again,

47:34

47:34 we should just rename this as the year

47:36

47:36 of the goat.

47:37

47:37 >> Just saying, [laughter] Sean. Just

47:38

47:38 saying. In honor of you.

47:41

47:41 >> Oh, thank you, buddy.

47:42

47:42 >> 2026. Here we go, baby.

47:44

47:44 >> Uh, let's continue on our quest, my

47:47

47:47 dude. New year, new whatifs. We'll just

47:49

47:49 run through this one real quick. I only

47:50

47:50 got three of them for you. You know,

47:52

47:52 this is how we this how we pay the

47:53

47:53 bills. This is how we get the clicks,

47:54

47:54 you know. Uh, so Joshua, I got three.

47:57

47:57 >> Let's have some fun [laughter] with the

47:59

47:59 clicks here. Let's see.

48:00

48:00 >> Let's have some fun with the clicks. I'm

48:03

48:03 bringing it up right now. Here we go,

48:04

48:04 buddy. This is your first would you

48:07

48:07 rather or what if question. This is a

48:08

48:08 would you rather question.

48:10

48:10 >> Okay,

48:10

48:10 >> so Joshua, would you rather your phone

48:13

48:13 autocorrect happy new year to happy new

48:17

48:17 year, coward, or autocorrect I'm on my

48:21

48:21 way to I'm still in bed? Which one would

48:24

48:24 you rather have, buddy?

48:25

48:25 >> I like the first one.

48:26

48:26 >> The first one? [laughter]

48:28

48:28 >> Yeah.

48:29

48:29 >> Yeah. That's like

48:30

48:30 >> Instead of it saying happy new year, you

48:31

48:31 wanted to say happy new year you coward.

48:34

48:34 [laughter]

48:34

48:34 >> Yeah, that's that's awesome. I mean, cuz

48:37

48:37 I figured if if you send somebody that

48:40

48:40 and like you know how people just don't

48:41

48:41 respond to you over text,

48:43

48:43 >> right? [laughter] Like like I feel like

48:45

48:45 that's a that's a guaranteed like you're

48:48

48:48 going to get a reply back. So that one's

48:50

48:50 perfect. [laughter] All right.

48:51

48:51 >> Somebody should use, you know, matter of

48:53

48:53 fact, use that tomorrow if you're

48:55

48:55 listening to this. Use that tomorrow on

48:57

48:57 somebody

48:58

48:58 >> and see if they reply. Send it to

49:00

49:00 somebody who never replies to you right

49:02

49:02 away and send it to them and see if they

49:04

49:04 reply back. [laughter]

49:05

49:05 >> Yeah.

49:06

49:06 >> If you get in trouble for, don't blame

49:07

49:07 me. I mean, this is Yeah, we're just

49:09

49:09 having fun with this [ __ ] Don't blame

49:10

49:10 me for breaking up your relationship or

49:12

49:12 friendship or know your grandma hates

49:14

49:14 you or some [ __ ] Um, just [laughter]

49:16

49:16 like, you know,

49:19

49:19 >> tried. Let me know.

49:22

49:22 >> This one is a uh a what if question.

49:25

49:25 [clears throat and cough]

49:26

49:26 Joshua, what if you had to pick the 2026

49:30

49:30 mascot that follows you around? For

49:33

49:33 example, would you pick a goose,

49:35

49:35 raccoon, tiny horse, etc. So, if you had

49:37

49:37 to pick the 2026 mascot, buddy, I think

49:40

49:40 I already know who who would be because

49:42

49:42 you raised a little statue of it

49:43

49:43 earlier, but who would you pick?

49:45

49:45 [laughter]

49:47

49:47 >> Little Beria, little goat, you know.

49:49

49:49 >> Little media. Yeah, buddy. Video, little

49:51

49:51 beer, [laughter] little little taco. You

49:53

49:53 know, make use of it when I'm done. You

49:55

49:55 know, I'm good and done with you.

49:57

49:57 [laughter]

49:58

49:58 >> That's how you end 2026.

50:01

50:01 >> You sacrificed your friend of the year.

50:03

50:03 [laughter] You

50:04

50:04 >> followed me a little too long, buddy.

50:06

50:06 It's time for you to go.

50:07

50:07 >> Yeah.

50:08

50:08 >> Oh, man. Okay. Let's Let's go with the

50:10

50:10 goat, man. Let's just go with the goat.

50:12

50:12 [laughter]

50:13

50:13 >> I'm gonna go raccoon on this one, by the

50:15

50:15 way. I love raccoons. Trash pandas. I'm

50:16

50:16 all for it. So Joshua, last one. Would

50:20

50:20 you rather have to announce your New

50:22

50:22 Year's Sorry. Would you rather have to

50:26

50:26 announce your resolution to everyone you

50:28

50:28 meet for a month or have your resolution

50:31

50:31 be assigned by a stranger in a grocery

50:33

50:33 store? [clears throat]

50:36

50:36 >> Okay. Now, now do I get to pick the

50:38

50:38 grocery store I go into? Yeah.

50:39

50:39 >> Because if I'm in like a Staff of Life

50:41

50:41 or something, they're probably going to

50:42

50:42 be like, "Oh, you know, work out more."

50:44

50:44 You know, but if I go into like a

50:46

50:46 grocery outlet or some [ __ ] No, no, I'm

50:48

50:48 not knocking on grocery outlet. All

50:49

50:49 right. [laughter] Just sorry. Just

50:51

50:51 saying.

50:51

50:51 >> Yeah. What would they say in that

50:53

50:53 grocery outlet? Huh?

50:53

50:53 >> A [ __ ] Whole Foods. You know what I

50:55

50:55 like if I pick like a Costco? Like if I

50:57

50:57 get to go and like pick the place

51:00

51:00 >> maybe, you know what I'm saying? Like a

51:03

51:03 99 cent store. Like what what you know

51:05

51:05 what are they going to give me as my New

51:07

51:07 Year's resolution?

51:08

51:08 >> You know, um

51:09

51:09 >> I like I like the the chaos of it, you

51:11

51:11 know? I would I would probably choose

51:13

51:13 letting a stranger pick it out because

51:14

51:14 like I like the chaos like you know like

51:16

51:16 just be a little

51:17

51:17 >> But here's the thing. I I would need the

51:19

51:19 stranger to like I'd have to give him my

51:21

51:21 phone number. There'd be follow-up. See,

51:22

51:22 this is the problem. [laughter] You

51:24

51:24 know, like

51:24

51:24 >> 3 months down the line, hey, did you uh

51:27

51:27 did you kill like turtles like I told

51:29

51:29 you to? [laughter]

51:30

51:30 >> This is why where I shop would be

51:32

51:32 important because who knows what they're

51:33

51:33 going to ask of you. You know what I

51:35

51:35 mean? Like you got to [ __ ] buy a

51:37

51:37 pinata every month and [ __ ] beat it

51:39

51:39 up and [laughter] get your anger

51:40

51:40 management and [ __ ] You know what I

51:41

51:41 mean? Like you got to

51:42

51:42 >> that's your resolution. Yeah. Yeah.

51:43

51:43 >> You just kind of Yeah. You have to kind

51:45

51:45 of be careful like where you do this at.

51:47

51:47 But I I would totally do pick a

51:49

51:49 stranger.

51:50

51:50 >> Um and hopefully they steer me down the

51:53

51:53 right path.

51:54

51:54 >> Hope for the best, you know. Hope for

51:56

51:56 the best.

51:57

51:57 >> Yeah. Yeah. Because it could get weird

51:59

51:59 real quick if you pick the wrong person,

52:01

52:01 let me tell you. [laughter] But it'd be

52:02

52:02 fun. It would be fun.

52:04

52:04 >> I'm with you. There you go, buddy. Those

52:06

52:06 are your Those are our New Year's

52:07

52:07 whatifs, you know, plot twist editions.

52:10

52:10 So, uh, that was good. That was fun.

52:12

52:12 That was a fun one.

52:13

52:13 >> We love those. All right, so should we

52:14

52:14 wrap it up here real quick?

52:15

52:15 >> Let's Yeah, let's start wrapping it up,

52:17

52:17 buddy. What's this last topic you got

52:18

52:18 here? Lights.

52:18

52:18 >> Okay, I'm ready. We'll jam through this.

52:19

52:19 >> Get cozy.

52:20

52:20 >> Yeah, let's get cozy real quick. Uh, so,

52:23

52:23 you know, this could have gotten longer,

52:24

52:24 but you know, why not? Let's just

52:25

52:25 [ __ ] have some real quick fun with

52:27

52:27 this. So,

52:27

52:27 >> I know I took a lot of time out of the

52:28

52:28 day. I'm sorry.

52:29

52:29 >> No, no, it's okay. It's okay, man,

52:31

52:31 because we all need to learn about

52:32

52:32 Disney. Most a lot of people have not

52:34

52:34 been to Disney in in forever, you know,

52:36

52:36 maybe since they were a kid. So, it's

52:38

52:38 it's nice to see adults go there and let

52:40

52:40 you know us other adults know what it's

52:42

52:42 all about again. I guess

52:44

52:44 >> [laughter]

52:44

52:44 >> um

52:44

52:44 >> I guess like I don't [ __ ] know, man.

52:47

52:47 I just sat through 45 minutes of that

52:49

52:49 [ __ ] I don't [laughter]

52:51

52:51 >> Disney [ __ ] Um yeah. All right. So,

52:53

52:53 Lights, Camera, Let's Get Cozy. So, this

52:55

52:55 year there's a bunch of new movies

52:58

52:58 coming out and and there's a bunch of

52:59

52:59 shows coming out and I thought I'd just

53:01

53:01 ramble off a few. if you're, you know,

53:03

53:03 you're you're getting under the lights,

53:04

53:04 you you're pulling your camera, you're

53:06

53:06 getting cozy with these things, or

53:07

53:07 you're just you're pretty much done with

53:08

53:08 these [ __ ] these shows. Um, so

53:11

53:11 recently, uh, me and my girlfriend

53:12

53:12 started watching the HBO show, It

53:15

53:15 Welcome to Dairy. Have you seen this

53:17

53:17 [ __ ] yet? Have you seen this?

53:18

53:18 >> No. Why would I watch this? It's [ __ ]

53:20

53:20 scary [ __ ] I'm not going to watch a

53:21

53:21 scary show. [ __ ] that. If you if you

53:24

53:24 haven't I know it's not a new 2020 this

53:26

53:26 year uh a show, but if you haven't

53:28

53:28 watched it yet and you got HBO and

53:30

53:30 you're one of those people that [ __ ]

53:31

53:31 is lives your subscriptions kind of like

53:34

53:34 I am right now. Um it's all I watch is

53:37

53:37 movies. Uh but it's actually a really

53:39

53:39 good show. Very [ __ ] creepy. So if

53:41

53:41 you want to just scare the [ __ ] out of

53:42

53:42 somebody or or you like scary [ __ ] I

53:45

53:45 highly recommend it. Um check it out.

53:47

53:47 >> All right. So Sean's not into that one.

53:49

53:49 How about the um are you looking forward

53:51

53:51 to the uh the new uh Super Mario Galaxy

53:55

53:55 movie that's coming out this year?

53:57

53:57 >> Um yeah, honestly, yeah, low key, yes,

53:59

53:59 for sure. Cuz I thought the first Super

54:01

54:01 Mario movie was pretty good. Like an

54:03

54:03 unexpected hit, which is why obviously

54:05

54:05 they're making a sequel to it, but yeah,

54:06

54:06 I thought it was good, you know. So

54:08

54:08 yeah, I'm looking forward to that one.

54:10

54:10 Have you seen the first one, Joshua?

54:11

54:11 I've, you know, I've, dude, like if you

54:14

54:14 could burn out a disc like you used to

54:16

54:16 back in the day, you know, like just

54:17

54:17 rewatching a movie over and over and

54:20

54:20 over and over again. I've seen this so

54:22

54:22 many [ __ ] Dude, the Mario movie is

54:24

54:24 actually really really cool. So, if you

54:26

54:26 haven't seen the the first one, watch

54:28

54:28 it. And yeah, I'm I'm the same. I'm I'm

54:30

54:30 looking forward to

54:30

54:30 >> Do you have it on DVD, buddy? Do you

54:32

54:32 have it on DVD?

54:33

54:33 >> No, I bought it I bought it on, you

54:35

54:35 know, this one of the streaming services

54:36

54:36 that I have.

54:37

54:37 >> So, it wasn't it wasn't good enough for

54:38

54:38 you to own in your DVD collection.

54:40

54:40 Joshua has an extensive DVD collection

54:42

54:42 by the way, everybody. Uh, so it wasn't

54:44

54:44 good enough for you to to have it in

54:45

54:45 that DVD collection,

54:46

54:46 >> like a hard physical copy. No, because

54:48

54:48 it came out later when I already

54:49

54:49 started, like I was converted. I feel

54:51

54:51 like there's there was a conversion

54:52

54:52 process for me that had happened um to

54:55

54:55 go digital because I just ran out of

54:57

54:57 shelf space and it's just yeah, physical

54:59

54:59 copies. I have enough physical copies of

55:01

55:01 of movies I don't need anymore.

55:04

55:04 [laughter] Um, and I would always buy

55:05

55:05 like the hard case, you know, the

55:07

55:07 special edition like you could stop.

55:08

55:08 >> Yeah. The metal cases and [ __ ] Yeah.

55:11

55:11 >> Yeah. So, I was that guy spending like

55:13

55:13 $40 on a on a metal case that's now just

55:16

55:16 under a [ __ ] bed somewhere in my

55:17

55:17 house. It's stupid. Um,

55:19

55:19 >> obsolete.

55:20

55:20 >> Yeah.

55:20

55:20 >> Yeah. Just Just Okay. Um, how about are

55:23

55:23 you all caught up with the Stranger

55:25

55:25 Things?

55:25

55:25 >> Oh, I am, buddy. I am caught up with

55:27

55:27 Stranger Things uh up until I mean I

55:29

55:29 guess once this episode comes out the

55:30

55:30 show would be over and I will just say

55:32

55:32 my feelings on it right now. Uh was not

55:35

55:35 worth the hype already. I'll tell you

55:37

55:37 right now this is Shawn of the Past

55:40

55:40 predicting the future. Uh there's going

55:42

55:42 to be a lot of complaints. Uh there's no

55:43

55:43 way in hell that they can wrap up a

55:44

55:44 story line that long in the span of two

55:47

55:47 hours. And it was as it sounds a

55:50

55:50 mediocre ending to a show that lasted a

55:53

55:53 little bit too long. So that's that's my

55:54

55:54 take on it. Take that for what you will,

55:56

55:56 buddy. How about How about you? How you

55:57

55:57 feeling?

55:58

55:58 >> I mean, me and my girlfriend rewatched

55:59

55:59 the whole thing. Still loving it. Still

56:01

56:01 digging it. Can't wait to see what

56:02

56:02 happens. Um, and I guess if we have to

56:05

56:05 do a follow-up on it, then we will, but

56:07

56:07 I I will probably rewatch it again. It

56:10

56:10 it for me, it was a it was a breath of

56:12

56:12 fresh air for a show needed for a long

56:15

56:15 time. It just kind of sucks that

56:16

56:16 everything happened through like, you

56:18

56:18 know, co, you know, a lot it slowed a

56:20

56:20 lot of stuff down like filming and drag

56:22

56:22 stuff out. So, that is what that is.

56:25

56:25 But, um, I think a show like that was

56:26

56:26 long overdue and it was it was nice to

56:28

56:28 see and and, uh, I'm going to be bummed

56:30

56:30 when it's over, even though it's like

56:31

56:31 crazy hyped up right now and it is what

56:33

56:33 it is. Um, Sean, I I this is probably

56:37

56:37 one of my favorites right here. And this

56:39

56:39 is also a show.

56:41

56:41 >> It's on a subscriptionbased platform, so

56:44

56:44 you may not be able to see this or not.

56:46

56:46 >> Um, [laughter]

56:50

56:50 I never played the game. I don't know if

56:51

56:51 I just said that right now, but I did

56:52

56:52 not play the video game. But Sean, have

56:54

56:54 you seen the show Fallout?

56:56

56:56 >> I have not. Uh, but I do want to watch

56:58

56:58 it. So, this is one of the shows that I

56:60

56:60 I am going to watch eventually. Uh, cuz

57:02

57:02 I know they're just they just put out

57:03

57:03 season 2 or they like season 2 is just

57:05

57:05 starting or something something like

57:06

57:06 that. Uh, but yes, I've heard great

57:08

57:08 things and I heard they stick really

57:09

57:09 close to the game uh as far as like uh

57:12

57:12 like costumeuming and stuff like that.

57:14

57:14 So, I'm I'm pretty excited because I did

57:17

57:17 play the Fallout series of games and I

57:18

57:18 still play the Fallout series of games.

57:20

57:20 Uh, so yes, I'm I'm very excited. Did

57:22

57:22 you watch the show already, Josh? What?

57:24

57:24 Have you

57:24

57:24 >> Okay, so I have not only watched the

57:26

57:26 show.

57:27

57:27 >> I, you know, I didn't do it tonight, but

57:30

57:30 pretty soon I'm going to have a little

57:31

57:31 bit of the show inside my body. I'm

57:34

57:34 going to consume, I'm literally going to

57:36

57:36 consume

57:37

57:37 >> some of the show inside my body.

57:39

57:39 [snorts]

57:40

57:40 >> And let me show you how this is even

57:42

57:42 possible. So, I took I took a trip to

57:45

57:45 one of our local [ __ ] I only shop at

57:47

57:47 what, Target? three places.

57:50

57:50 >> Um, [laughter]

57:51

57:51 where else do I go? Best Buy. Um,

57:54

57:54 Target.

57:54

57:54 >> Yeah. GameStop. Yeah. Let me go. Okay.

57:56

57:56 So, I happened to walk into one of the

57:60

58:00 local Costos

58:02

58:02 >> and because I just couldn't [ __ ]

58:05

58:05 resist, man. And I love the show so

58:07

58:07 much.

58:07

58:07 >> So scared right now.

58:08

58:08 >> They came out with this right here,

58:10

58:10 Sean. Check this [ __ ] out. Let me get

58:12

58:12 rid of this [ __ ] chat with this

58:13

58:13 section. Check this out, buddy.

58:16

58:16 >> What the hell? Okay, so this is a

58:17

58:17 Fallout themed Jones Soda. So if people

58:20

58:20 are listening to this on the East Coast

58:22

58:22 or across the pond, uh Jones Soda is a

58:25

58:25 very popular soda company here uh in the

58:28

58:28 States, at least as far as West Coast

58:30

58:30 goes. Uh so it looks like they came out

58:32

58:32 with a flavor pack. I can't read the

58:34

58:34 flavors, buddy. So what are the flavors?

58:35

58:35 >> Okay, so I'm going to break it down for

58:36

58:36 you. So okay, here is the pack right

58:39

58:39 here. And they have three different

58:41

58:41 flavors in here. You got

58:44

58:44 sunset sasparilla.

58:46

58:46 >> Oh, okay. That sounds

58:48

58:48 >> sasparilla.

58:49

58:49 >> Good. Yeah.

58:50

58:50 >> You have a uh a nuke. What was it

58:53

58:53 called? Na grape cola.

58:56

58:56 >> Okay.

58:56

58:56 >> Grape cola.

58:57

58:57 >> Okay. Grape cola. And then you also have

58:60

58:60 a quantum

59:04

59:04 >> cola.

59:04

59:04 >> Just quantum cola. All right. No

59:06

59:06 description on that one. It's just

59:08

59:08 flavor. Quantum uh berry lemonade soda.

59:12

59:12 >> Oh, that sounds divine. That one I think

59:14

59:14 that's probably going to be the best

59:15

59:15 one.

59:16

59:16 >> And get this, dude. It doesn't only come

59:18

59:18 with the drink. They give you this

59:20

59:20 little [ __ ] bag right here. There's a

59:22

59:22 little bag.

59:23

59:23 >> A little treasure bag, right? It's not

59:25

59:25 just the sodas, dude. They give you

59:27

59:27 >> They give you the caps. And underneath

59:29

59:29 the caps, there's QR codes.

59:31

59:31 >> Uhhuh.

59:31

59:31 >> Underneath every one of these caps.

59:34

59:34 >> So, a cap for each one. A QR code for

59:36

59:36 each one.

59:37

59:37 >> Okay. Again, I'm showing them all off.

59:39

59:39 It's kind of silly, but each one has a

59:41

59:41 cure code and they give you

59:44

59:44 a big ass

59:46

59:46 >> Oh, like

59:47

59:47 >> bottle opener.

59:48

59:48 >> Okay. Bottle opener. So, wait, what does

59:50

59:50 the QR code do? What

59:52

59:52 >> I have not scanned the QR codes. I don't

59:54

59:54 I don't know where they sent you or what

59:55

59:55 they

59:56

59:56 >> Well, the if somebody's still watching

59:57

59:57 to this point and they didn't leave from

59:59

59:59 the [ __ ] Disney [ __ ] uh, you can

60:02

60:02 scan that QR code and let Joshua know

60:03

60:03 what the [ __ ] happens, [laughter]

60:05

60:05 >> dude. It's so [ __ ] cool though, dude.

60:07

60:07 Like I love it when they come out with

60:08

60:08 like memorabilia and stuff like this for

60:10

60:10 shows or whatever. If they came out with

60:11

60:11 the Stranger Things one, I probably

60:13

60:13 would get the same thing. But um I

60:14

60:14 haven't tried them yet.

60:15

60:15 >> Target. They had a bunch of [ __ ]

60:17

60:17 Stranger Things [ __ ] inside the Targets

60:18

60:18 this year.

60:19

60:19 >> I know, but they didn't have [ __ ] the

60:20

60:20 sodas like that, man. I don't think that

60:22

60:22 they did. I saw like Funkos and other

60:24

60:24 stuff and like figurines or whatever,

60:25

60:25 but I didn't see like So when I went to

60:26

60:26 that Costco and I saw I was like, "Dude,

60:28

60:28 I have to." And apparently um within

60:30

60:30 Fallout there's a whole thing maybe in

60:32

60:32 the games or something about sodas in

60:34

60:34 the game. I don't know if they're like

60:36

60:36 little

60:36

60:36 >> mechanic. Yeah.

60:37

60:37 >> Okay. So, there you go. So, that's a

60:40

60:40 [ __ ] thing because I never seen

60:41

60:41 >> So, you got to play the [ __ ] games,

60:42

60:42 bro. You gota [ __ ] You got to play

60:44

60:44 Fallout.

60:46

60:46 >> Apparently, I do. But, um I mean, I

60:48

60:48 don't know if that my fun find,

60:50

60:50 >> but

60:51

60:51 >> sure. I'll make your fun find if you

60:52

60:52 want to, but is that what you want your

60:54

60:54 fun find to be?

60:55

60:55 >> I mean, that that could totally be my

60:56

60:56 fun find. There you go, everybody. That

60:58

60:58 is my Costco fun find for this episode

61:00

61:00 right here.

61:01

61:01 >> [ __ ] beautiful. I'll save I'll save

61:02

61:02 my actual fun findiness for the next uh

61:04

61:04 episode uh 116. I'll save that for next

61:07

61:07 week. But yeah,

61:08

61:08 >> cool, man. Hey, I'm excited for that. I

61:10

61:10 also think that we're going to make you

61:11

61:11 playing Fallout a supplemental uh

61:13

61:13 because one, I don't have to do anything

61:15

61:15 except to watch you play Fallout and

61:17

61:17 that would make me very happy. So, I

61:20

61:20 think we're going to do that.

61:21

61:21 >> I'm down. [laughter]

61:22

61:22 >> We'll do that for this year, everybody.

61:24

61:24 >> Uh but since you showed off your fun

61:26

61:26 find, buddy, let me show off my fun

61:28

61:28 find. Uh it'll be a quick one because I

61:30

61:30 only have one of them. Uh, but Joshua,

61:32

61:32 like I alluded to earlier, guess what I

61:34

61:34 have right here? It's it's a few weeks

61:37

61:37 old, but but you know, here on this

61:39

61:39 podcast, we don't judge. You know, we

61:41

61:41 listen and we don't judge. I'm going to

61:43

61:43 take it out right now. Sorry for all the

61:44

61:44 noise, Mia. I apologize. Um, I just

61:47

61:47 ruined his head, but it's okay cuz he's

61:49

61:49 right here. Look at him. This is the

61:50

61:50 gingerbread cookie. He's beautiful. I

61:52

61:52 ruined his little ear right now by

61:53

61:53 pulling him out. Uh, but on the back of

61:55

61:55 him, he has has a little piece of

61:56

61:56 chocolate, a little piece of white

61:58

61:58 chocolate on there. I'm just going to go

61:59

61:59 and take a take a big old bite of this

62:00

62:00 like four-week old cookie. Here we go.

62:03

62:03 >> Does it hold up? Hell yeah. So [ __ ]

62:06

62:06 delicious. I'm [laughter] [ __ ]

62:07

62:07 >> just going to town with a mouthful of

62:10

62:10 cookie right now. [clears throat]

62:11

62:11 >> Hey, you know what? I I didn't hear a

62:13

62:13 crunch either, so that thing's probably

62:14

62:14 still nice and soft.

62:15

62:15 >> He's soft. He's a soft [ __ ]

62:17

62:17 Also, you also want to eat him from the

62:18

62:18 ears if you're a savage like I am.

62:20

62:20 Otherwise, you can eat his legs and be

62:22

62:22 nice.

62:22

62:22 >> But [snorts]

62:23

62:23 >> you don't go crotch first.

62:26

62:26 I mean, I could [laughter]

62:28

62:28 >> go crotch first. There you go. There you

62:30

62:30 go. That's how you eat a cookie.

62:32

62:32 >> Yeah.

62:34

62:34 >> Out.

62:35

62:35 >> Yeah.

62:35

62:35 >> There you go. That's my fun find,

62:37

62:37 everybody. Hey, happy new year.

62:39

62:39 >> Uh, let's do some uh lucky numbers,

62:42

62:42 buddy. A fortune. What do you got? What

62:43

62:43 do you want to end this episode?

62:44

62:44 >> Do we want to hit a fortune at this

62:46

62:46 point? Holy [ __ ] Like, we can

62:47

62:47 >> We have to. It's our stick. It's our

62:48

62:48 >> stick. All right, let's let's do it.

62:50

62:50 Let's do it.

62:51

62:51 >> All right. Open my mouth right now.

62:53

62:53 >> [ __ ] dude. I'm like screaming to the

62:55

62:55 mic, too. Sorry, buddy. All right, here

62:56

62:56 we go. We still got some of these

62:58
