00:00 Welcome to episode 149 of Sorry for the
00:04
00:04 Delay. I'm your editor, Mia. This week,
00:06
00:06 Joshua doublefists Sunset Soda and
00:09
00:09 Whiskey, while Sean cracks open a
00:11
00:11 clearance my tie before the two
00:12
00:12 accidentally wander into a surprisingly
00:15
00:15 real conversation about bad leadership,
00:17
00:17 respect, and who you are once the work
00:19
00:19 badge comes off. Then it's another
00:21
00:21 six-mile adventure. Pineapple vampire
00:23
00:23 rings that absolutely refuse to
00:25
00:25 cooperate. October arrived with
00:27
00:27 technical difficulties. chunky food
00:30
00:30 debates, Disney trivia, and one very
00:32
00:32 lucky Lightning McQueen blind box pull.
00:35
00:35 Enjoy the show.
00:36
00:36 >> Hello and welcome to another episode of
00:39
00:39 Sorry for the Delay. We are your hosts.
00:41
00:41 Uh my name is Sean. Right over there is
00:45
00:45 the lustrious,
00:46
00:46 the beautiful, the absolutely chaotic
00:50
00:50 man himself, Joshua. Joshua, this is
00:53
00:53 episode 149, my dude. Almost to 150.
00:57
00:57 Incredible feat. Um, but like we do
00:60
00:60 every week, my guy. Hey, how are you
01:02
01:02 doing this week, my dude?
01:04
01:04 >> I think the only thing you got right
01:05
01:05 about that was uh how chaotic I am.
01:08
01:08 >> I don't know if anything Yeah. I I don't
01:10
01:10 think any anything else of your
01:11
01:11 description about me right there was
01:13
01:13 >> I would beg to be
01:14
01:14 >> accurate.
01:16
01:16 Yeah. Um, but uh thank you for the
01:18
01:18 lovely introduction, Sean. I I feel like
01:20
01:20 at some point I have to come up with an
01:22
01:22 introduction just as beautiful for you
01:24
01:24 because you know you kind of introduce
01:26
01:26 me so nicely every single time.
01:28
01:28 >> Um but yeah, thanks buddy for that and
01:30
01:30 I'm glad to be here. Uh I'm glad that
01:32
01:32 you're here. I'm glad that we are
01:34
01:34 audiences here and uh I'm ready for
01:36
01:36 another fun episode, another exciting
01:39
01:39 episode. I kind of feel like
01:42
01:42 >> it's it could get heavy at times. This
01:44
01:44 may be one of those these emotional
01:46
01:46 >> Oh no. Um,
01:49
01:49 >> this is going to get weird
01:50
01:50 >> podcasts. So, uh, be prepared for that
01:53
01:53 because we could get into some stuff
01:55
01:55 things. Uh, uh, and I think that's why
01:56
01:56 sometimes people come here for all that.
01:58
01:58 So, um, for sure.
01:59
01:59 >> Thank you, Sean.
01:60
01:60 >> You're welcome.
02:00
02:00 >> Uh, thank you for everybody being here
02:02
02:02 once again.
02:02
02:02 >> Yeah. I mean, it's a I guess I should
02:03
02:03 have said it's an odd episode. The
02:05
02:05 usually people should like there should
02:07
02:07 be a word of caution with the odd
02:09
02:09 episodes. These ones get weird. They get
02:10
02:10 [ __ ] weird. I hopefully don't get too
02:13
02:13 weird, buddy. Uh, but I do want to know
02:16
02:16 what are you sipping on tonight that
02:17
02:17 we're gonna get extra weird with.
02:20
02:20 >> Okay. So, um, you know, typically, you
02:22
02:22 know, we do this either in the mid-after
02:23
02:23 afternoon, the morning, but this just
02:25
02:25 happens to be one of those sunset,
02:28
02:28 uh, episodes for myself.
02:31
02:31 >> It's a little ominous. Yeah, this is a
02:32
02:32 sunset episode.
02:34
02:34 >> Uh, yeah. Well, because the night
02:35
02:35 episode. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, for you. Okay.
02:38
02:38 Yeah. Where you're at, the sun is still
02:40
02:40 out for me. The sun is starting to set.
02:42
02:42 And what better to have a sunset uh
02:46
02:46 episode than with a
02:49
02:49 sunset sasparilla.
02:51
02:51 >> Oh today. What a little [ __ ]
02:53
02:53 >> Oh yeah. Hey, this is See, and this is
02:56
02:56 why we're going here. This is a nice
02:58
02:58 little sunset sasparilla. But
03:01
03:01 >> like I always do. You can't have a
03:03
03:03 little bit of that without a little bit
03:04
03:04 of this. I got a little bit of whiskey.
03:06
03:06 >> Oh, I spilled too soon. I'm so sorry,
03:08
03:08 Joshua. So sorry. My bad. I take it
03:09
03:09 back. I take it back. Your cup is
03:10
03:10 accepted now. I'm glad we've we've
03:13
03:13 learned what is inside of it.
03:15
03:15 >> So, for this episode, I am double
03:17
03:17 fisting. I got the good old the classic
03:19
03:19 whiskey, a little Sunset Sasparilla to
03:22
03:22 chase it down. Um I don't think I've
03:24
03:24 ever tried the Sunset Sasparilla on on
03:27
03:27 any of the podcasts. So, this is part of
03:29
03:29 the Fallout edition. I don't think I
03:31
03:31 have.
03:32
03:32 >> Okay.
03:32
03:32 >> I don't think I've shown this off.
03:33
03:33 >> I I think you've shown it off. I don't I
03:35
03:35 guess you're right. I guess you haven't
03:36
03:36 tried this aspir. Interesting. Yeah,
03:38
03:38 we'd have to rewind the tape, but that's
03:40
03:40 so many episodes ago. But I'm gonna sip
03:41
03:41 on this. Um, so that is what's in my
03:44
03:44 cup. And if you haven't if nobody's ever
03:46
03:46 tried sasparilla, you should. It's It's
03:48
03:48 pretty tasty. Um, but those are the two
03:50
03:50 things in my cup, Sean, for this
03:52
03:52 episode. Um, what is in your cup?
03:55
03:55 >> All right. Uh, just for the record,
03:56
03:56 sasparilla is the longass name for root
03:60
03:60 beer. So Josh's drinking a beer and
04:02
04:02 sipping a whiskey, so there's that.
04:06
04:06 >> Beautiful. Just beautiful. Gota try it.
04:08
04:08 Yeah, man.
04:08
04:08 >> All right. So, I decided to do something
04:10
04:10 a little different, just like you. Uh, I
04:13
04:13 have something I have not had on the
04:15
04:15 podcast before, but you know, Joshua,
04:17
04:17 I'm a I'm a connoisseur of mixed
04:19
04:19 cocktails and cutwaters and all that fun
04:22
04:22 stuff, right? Uh, this is not a
04:24
04:24 cutwater, but this is a mixed cocktail.
04:27
04:27 So, Joshua, I don't know if you've had
04:28
04:28 these or have seen these. Uh, this is
04:30
04:30 called On the Rocks Premium Cocktails.
04:34
04:34 >> I've seen those.
04:35
04:35 >> Okay, perfect. This is the M Thai made
04:38
04:38 with rum. So, I'm going to go ahead and
04:41
04:41 give this a little sippy sip. I'm going
04:43
04:43 to drink it straight from the bottle
04:44
04:44 right now. Then I'm going to pour it
04:45
04:45 over ice. So, you're not supposed to.
04:46
04:46 Oh, also I'm supposed to shake it. Hang
04:47
04:47 on. Let me shake it.
04:52
04:52 >> I would imagine. Yeah, cuz stuff falls
04:54
04:54 to the bottom, right? The solids.
04:55
04:55 >> Oh, yeah. So, I'm going to give it a
04:56
04:56 little sippy sip and then I'll pour it
04:57
04:57 into my ice cup over here. So, let's see
04:58
04:58 what this tastes like. Here we go.
05:04
05:04 Whoa.
05:06
05:06 O um it tastes like honey in a weird
05:10
05:10 way. Like a like if you took a pineapple
05:13
05:13 and you took a a lot of honey and you
05:16
05:16 mixed it all up. That's that's what this
05:18
05:18 tastes like. Uh this is also 40% by the
05:21
05:21 way everybody. Uh 40 proof, sorry. 20%.
05:24
05:24 And uh there's no instructions. Just
05:26
05:26 says pour over ice. So I'm just going to
05:27
05:27 pour this over my ice cup over here. And
05:28
05:28 this is what I'll be sipping on
05:29
05:29 throughout the day. Uh so things are
05:31
05:31 going to get [ __ ] weird and I'm
05:32
05:32 probably going to get hammered at the
05:33
05:33 end of this. So, uh, enjoy what is about
05:35
05:35 to happen. Uh, but yeah, pretty good
05:38
05:38 though. Pretty good. I got this for, uh,
05:39
05:39 this is this is my value find as well.
05:41
05:41 Uh, this was on clearance for $7.
05:43
05:43 >> Oh [ __ ] This is your value find, too.
05:44
05:44 That's your value find.
05:45
05:45 >> This is on clearance for seven bucks.
05:46
05:46 So, I picked up two of these and I'm
05:48
05:48 glad I did cuz it's pretty good. It
05:49
05:49 tastes pretty good.
05:51
05:51 >> There you go, buddy.
05:52
05:52 >> I like when alcohol becomes a value
05:53
05:53 find. Pretty freaking awesome.
05:55
05:55 >> You know, sometimes people like cheap
05:57
05:57 wine. You know, they have like those $5
05:59
05:59 wines at Trader Joe's. I think they
06:01
06:01 still do, right? Uh, but hey, when you
06:03
06:03 find some hard liquor in a very tasty
06:06
06:06 form for less than 10 bucks, dude,
06:08
06:08 that's that's a [ __ ] steal, man. For
06:10
06:10 anybody for anybody. So, you know, drink
06:14
06:14 responsibly.
06:15
06:15 >> No, I do I I also I just want to jump on
06:17
06:17 that. I do really like how wine
06:19
06:19 companies sell them the mini bottles.
06:22
06:22 >> Yeah.
06:22
06:22 >> You know, the like kind of I I'm saying
06:24
06:24 by the shop, but it's by the glass
06:26
06:26 basically.
06:27
06:27 >> Yeah. Got glass by the glass.
06:30
06:30 >> Yeah. Uh, so they're like fun for
06:31
06:31 picnics or you're going to the beach or
06:32
06:32 whatever it is. I think that's a cool a
06:33
06:33 cool take that they do on that.
06:35
06:35 >> You know, kind of limits the heavy
06:37
06:37 drinker. You just can't sit there and
06:38
06:38 just drink a whole bottle, you know?
06:39
06:39 >> I mean, you just buy more of them. Like
06:41
06:41 what?
06:41
06:41 >> I know, right? Just buy a full bottle,
06:43
06:43 you know?
06:44
06:44 >> Buy a full [ __ ] bottle, dude.
06:46
06:46 >> Anyh who,
06:46
06:46 >> I like that they do that.
06:48
06:48 >> All right, Joshua, should we get into
06:49
06:49 this? Should we get into what I I I was
06:51
06:51 telling you about earlier today? Should
06:52
06:52 we
06:53
06:53 >> I would you know this is why I said in
06:55
06:55 the beginning of this everybody is Sean
06:57
06:57 sent me a message today and
06:59
06:59 >> because you you it's hard to tell
07:01
07:01 emotions through text on screen.
07:04
07:04 >> Sean basically said Joshua I got
07:05
07:05 something you talk about I was at work
07:08
07:08 when he said this to me and I'm I'm
07:09
07:09 guessing he was at work too or maybe he
07:11
07:11 just hit somebody in a crosswalk or some
07:12
07:12 [ __ ] just the way he was talking. Um but
07:15
07:15 he had you know he's like I may go to
07:18
07:18 jail because of this and and so he's
07:20
07:20 here right now. So I'm assuming he
07:21
07:21 didn't go to jail
07:23
07:23 here
07:24
07:24 >> yet.
07:25
07:25 >> Yet still
07:26
07:26 >> yeah Sean if you you want to lay it on
07:27
07:27 me and the audience.
07:28
07:28 >> Let me take another what happened
07:30
07:30 earlier um that you were so excited to
07:32
07:32 tell me over text
07:34
07:34 because I'm curious
07:37
07:37 >> and uh if you're still listening I'm
07:38
07:38 sure you're curious too. you know, cuz
07:40
07:40 Sean doesn't get worked up. I just
07:41
07:41 spilled I drink on everything I have
07:43
07:43 over here.
07:44
07:44 >> That's
07:44
07:44 >> on my side, so that's my fault. Sorry,
07:46
07:46 everybody. Sorry, chat. Now I'm all
07:48
07:48 sticky.
07:49
07:49 >> Um, but
07:50
07:50 >> that's fine. Okay,
07:50
07:50 >> thank you for giving me that
07:52
07:52 introduction.
07:53
07:53 >> Um,
07:54
07:54 Joshua,
07:56
07:56 >> I
07:56
07:56 >> Yes, sir.
07:57
07:57 >> I'm a pretty calm and patient person in
08:00
08:00 real life. You know, I know on here
08:02
08:02 sometimes I may not give that persona,
08:05
08:05 right? I may not show that value of
08:07
08:07 myself, but I am a pretty calm and
08:11
08:11 caring and collective person. I would
08:14
08:14 also like to think of myself as a
08:16
08:16 strong, willed, and respected leader in
08:19
08:19 the field that I work in. Um, you know,
08:22
08:22 not to toot the not to toot a lot of my
08:24
08:24 own horn, but I do have some of the best
08:27
08:27 uh reviews out there for a leader in my
08:30
08:30 position, and people come to me for
08:31
08:31 problems, and I give people respect. Uh
08:34
08:34 Joshua,
08:36
08:36 can I ask a question real quick? Can I
08:37
08:37 ask a question of you buddy?
08:38
08:38 >> You can ask when it comes to
08:40
08:40 >> I know you have strong opinions and we
08:42
08:42 never talk about work on here usually
08:44
08:44 like or where we work but to keep am an
08:47
08:47 anonymity here buddy. How do you feel
08:52
08:52 about the state of managerial
08:58
08:58 prowess right now? How do you feel about
08:60
08:60 the state of the quality of managers,
09:05
09:05 leaders,
09:07
09:07 you know, in maybe a corporate setting,
09:09
09:09 you know, how are you feeling on that on
09:11
09:11 that vow right now?
09:12
09:12 >> Are you doing good with that or are
09:14
09:14 there problems? The cracks in the armor?
09:16
09:16 I feel like the current state of affairs
09:18
09:18 when it comes to leadership, not only
09:21
09:21 like in the workplace or whatever. I
09:24
09:24 know we're talking about work, but I
09:25
09:25 think there's just a lot of leadership
09:27
09:27 skills that are lacking
09:29
09:29 >> um in most people.
09:30
09:30 >> Um not any of our audience members, by
09:33
09:33 the way, all of you guys are great
09:34
09:34 because you're here with us. So clearly,
09:35
09:35 you guys are leaders.
09:37
09:37 >> You know, if you're on this podcast,
09:38
09:38 you're listening to what you guys some
09:39
09:39 capacity, you're you're a leader. So, uh
09:42
09:42 thank you for listening. Um but I I do
09:45
09:45 think
09:47
09:47 uh and somebody who you who of you are
09:50
09:50 listening could probably relate that
09:51
09:51 there is a lot of checking of the box.
09:54
09:54 >> Yeah.
09:55
09:55 >> That is happening in most corporate
09:57
09:57 companies and uh I think it's an easy
10:00
10:00 way to not truly invest in somebody
10:02
10:02 because you know you're going to get rid
10:03
10:03 of them sooner than later.
10:04
10:04 >> Yeah.
10:05
10:05 >> So you're not really retaining valued
10:08
10:08 help.
10:09
10:09 >> All you're doing is just putting a body
10:11
10:11 in there. might as well be a shadow. And
10:14
10:14 hopefully they can last a few months.
10:16
10:16 >> Um
10:18
10:18 at least long enough to you can you
10:20
10:20 don't have to you got to give them some
10:22
10:22 benefit but not the full benefits, you
10:23
10:23 know. Yep.
10:24
10:24 >> Um
10:25
10:25 >> so I I feel like there is a struggle
10:28
10:28 right now when it comes to true leaders
10:30
10:30 in the workplace,
10:32
10:32 >> just in life in general. Um,
10:35
10:35 personally,
10:37
10:37 and maybe as as this this podcast
10:39
10:39 personality that I am, can get that word
10:41
10:41 out. I do kind of feel like, uh,
10:44
10:44 >> there are there's struggle out there for
10:46
10:46 leader, real leadership, companionship,
10:48
10:48 and just all that.
10:49
10:49 >> 100%. That was well spoken, Joshua. I
10:52
10:52 feel exactly the same way. And today, I
10:55
10:55 had to go through uh, let's just call it
10:57
10:57 a time share seminar of ill management,
11:01
11:01 if I will. Um,
11:04
11:04 and it just again my eyes have already
11:07
11:07 been open or if you want to call it
11:08
11:08 jaded. I'm jaded already by some of the
11:12
11:12 best managers that I've ever had in my
11:14
11:14 entire career. Uh, being respectful,
11:16
11:16 kind, and willing to help others. Right.
11:20
11:20 In this time share moment I had to go
11:22
11:22 through, it was clear to me that the
11:26
11:26 person in power at the moment is
11:28
11:28 incapable of operating their own life
11:32
11:32 and career. That it is to the exact
11:35
11:35 point you are making uh a shadow, a
11:38
11:38 body, a let's just deal with this issue
11:42
11:42 another time kind of thing, right? And
11:45
11:45 it was frustrating and it was not only
11:46
11:46 frustrating to myself but to my peers
11:48
11:48 and to everybody. And I just, you know,
11:52
11:52 I don't ever like talking about it, but
11:55
11:55 it just irks me so much when people get
11:59
11:59 into a position of power just to have
12:02
12:02 the power, quote unquote, right?
12:06
12:06 >> Okay.
12:06
12:06 >> And
12:08
12:08 it just it breaks my heart. It breaks my
12:09
12:09 heart because there's still a lot of
12:10
12:10 good people out there who like to work
12:12
12:12 and who love working for people like me,
12:14
12:14 like you, uh, like the people watching,
12:16
12:16 the people listening, right? There are
12:18
12:18 people who really enjoy working with us
12:21
12:21 and it breaks their heart when the
12:23
12:23 person above you or me or everybody who
12:26
12:26 is watching uh, belittles them, right?
12:29
12:29 Or doesn't give them the respect or the
12:31
12:31 time of day, right? And it it crushes
12:33
12:33 their soul. And to watch them get
12:35
12:35 crushed hurts me internally so much that
12:38
12:38 it's
12:40
12:40 I don't know just makes you kind of feel
12:42
12:42 makes you feel like what's the point,
12:44
12:44 you know? It just breaks your soul. It's
12:46
12:46 broken my soul. And I was just kind of
12:49
12:49 venting to Joshua about this incident
12:51
12:51 that happened to me. And it was it it
12:53
12:53 became more than frustration. It just
12:56
12:56 became a point of contention and a a
12:59
12:59 memory and a sticking point that will
13:01
13:01 always be just a thorn in my side and
13:04
13:04 also
13:06
13:06 just a different perspective on this
13:08
13:08 person in power. And it's one of those
13:10
13:10 things where you can't help it because
13:13
13:13 you know that this person is just going
13:16
13:16 to be that way for the rest of their
13:18
13:18 life because that is who they are, you
13:19
13:19 know, and so you just kind of got to
13:21
13:21 roll with the punches. And that has been
13:23
13:23 my motto anytime I get a new leader in
13:26
13:26 power is you just roll with it until
13:27
13:27 they leave because once you get higher
13:30
13:30 up on the food chain uh there's a lot
13:32
13:32 less food, right? So
13:36
13:36 >> things get uh consumed quickly and
13:38
13:38 people get turned out quicker. And so uh
13:42
13:42 my motto to the team has always been,
13:44
13:44 hey, just hold on a little longer. And
13:46
13:46 so today I really had to push that uh to
13:49
13:49 help the morality and help people get
13:52
13:52 through situations that are out of their
13:54
13:54 control, out of my control. And it is
13:57
13:57 just it's just crazy to think about.
13:59
13:59 Crazy to think about and upsetting to
14:01
14:01 have to go through. And uh
14:04
14:04 >> you know,
14:05
14:05 >> I don't know that I my frustration
14:07
14:07 turned into that, buddy. And so it I'm
14:09
14:09 no longer frustrated with it. I'm more
14:12
14:12 >> I'm Stop it. It doesn't It doesn't end
14:14
14:14 that quick. It doesn't end that quick.
14:17
14:17 Just know they're probably [ __ ]
14:18
14:18 They're probably scared of you and
14:20
14:20 realize you work way harder than they do
14:23
14:23 and they can't even show you enough
14:24
14:24 respect outside of work cuz they're not
14:26
14:26 even showing it to you at work.
14:28
14:28 >> So,
14:30
14:30 it's just kind of one of those things.
14:31
14:31 And so, who are you outside of work?
14:33
14:33 Just just don't forget that because
14:34
14:34 again, we're all regular people once we
14:36
14:36 hang the hat up or,
14:37
14:37 >> you know, take the shoes off. I just
14:40
14:40 thought it was kind of funny that um
14:42
14:42 you're bringing that up because most
14:43
14:43 people think they're a badass at work
14:44
14:44 and then when they get off they're just
14:45
14:45 a normal person like everybody else
14:47
14:47 unless you're a cop then you just carry
14:48
14:48 a gun constantly and you kind of are a
14:50
14:50 badass you know it's like you know like
14:54
14:54 >> yeah or you're a paramedic you can save
14:55
14:55 somebody's life you're a fire you know
14:57
14:57 there's certain jobs where I get it but
14:58
14:58 if you're just you know [ __ ] whatever
15:01
15:01 it is you know I'm not trying to [ __ ] on
15:03
15:03 anybody's career but like just remember
15:05
15:05 like you're probably not that important
15:06
15:06 in real life to be honest with you Um,
15:10
15:10 so protect your relationships, your real
15:12
15:12 ones.
15:13
15:13 >> Uh, yeah, we're all human and we should,
15:16
15:16 yeah, love one another. I guess
15:17
15:17 >> if we had to cut any of that for legal
15:19
15:19 reasons, um, the gist of the story is
15:22
15:22 that
15:24
15:24 is that I was frustrated and uh, should
15:27
15:27 could have gone a little bit different,
15:28
15:28 right? And to Joshua's point,
15:31
15:31 >> uh, to Joshua's point, who are you
15:33
15:33 outside of work? You know, that is that
15:36
15:36 is the key right there, right? So
15:38
15:38 Joshua, thank you for those words of
15:39
15:39 encouragement. Uh let's head on over to
15:41
15:41 the chat with us section. Uh the also u
15:45
15:45 thank you guys for listening and thank
15:46
15:46 you for watching. Uh sorry for the late
15:48
15:48 out live. Come check us out. Uh chat
15:50
15:50 with us section is the topics or are the
15:52
15:52 topics that we're going to talk I get
15:53
15:53 that wrong all the time all week. Uh are
15:55
15:55 the topics we're going to be talking
15:56
15:56 about for the week. They are as
15:58
15:58 followed. Uh number one is quick tip
16:01
16:01 part two.
16:01
16:01 >> Oh [ __ ]
16:02
16:02 >> Interesting.
16:02
16:02 >> I didn't even reset any of that. Sorry.
16:05
16:05 >> You're good. There you go.
16:06
16:06 >> Uh, the second topic is taste of
16:08
16:08 October. Third topic is crunchy smooth
16:11
16:11 or nope. And the final topic is Sean's
16:14
16:14 happy place. Uh, a topic not about me,
16:17
16:17 by the way. I just want to point that
16:18
16:18 out.
16:18
16:18 >> Yeah. I feel like we have to get there
16:19
16:19 after all this.
16:20
16:20 >> I know, right? I know.
16:21
16:21 >> Let's find Let's find Happy Place at the
16:23
16:23 end of this.
16:23
16:23 >> So, let's go ahead and start off with a
16:25
16:25 quick trip part two for
16:27
16:27 >> Okay, quick trip part two. All right,
16:29
16:29 Sean. Uh last I don't know if it was
16:31
16:31 last week or the week before, whatever
16:32
16:32 it was.
16:33
16:33 >> I myself went out and had a had a
16:36
16:36 wonderful time. You know, you know me,
16:38
16:38 Sean's like summer's over. It's all
16:41
16:41 coming to an end.
16:42
16:42 >> But for me, it's not. So, I just want to
16:44
16:44 share a nice little highlight that I
16:46
16:46 went on the other day. Had the day off
16:48
16:48 with the girlfriend and we did a couple
16:50
16:50 things. So, and usually it's a visual
16:52
16:52 thing. So, if you're just listening, I'm
16:53
16:53 sorry, but you just come over and check
16:54
16:54 this part out. There might be a time
16:55
16:55 stamp. Um
16:56
16:56 >> sorry for the late live. Check it out.
16:59
16:59 There you go. Uh, here you go. Check
17:01
17:01 this out. Can you see what I see right
17:03
17:03 now?
17:04
17:04 >> No, you cannot.
17:05
17:05 >> No, I cannot.
17:06
17:06 >> You cannot see it. So, the button the
17:08
17:08 button did not work, which is pretty
17:10
17:10 pretty depressing.
17:11
17:11 >> Can you click over? I think you can
17:13
17:13 still click over though, right?
17:14
17:14 >> I can't. I can.
17:15
17:15 >> You just can't push it.
17:16
17:16 >> Oh, no. I I can't I can't click over.
17:18
17:18 It's It's actually not working. Um, I
17:21
17:21 can do this though. Let me try this.
17:22
17:22 >> Broke it. Broke it.
17:23
17:23 >> Yeah.
17:24
17:24 >> Hang on. Let's see. Oh, there we go.
17:27
17:27 Hey, now we're both. All right, this
17:29
17:29 works, too. I like it.
17:30
17:30 >> Hey. Okay, so this is me right here just
17:34
17:34 out in the wild. This is Nicely Marks
17:35
17:35 right here. So, if you guys have ever
17:36
17:36 been to this place, you're local. Um,
17:38
17:38 this is me standing on top of a tree.
17:40
17:40 And uh I know it doesn't look very high,
17:43
17:43 but let me tell you, if I would have
17:45
17:45 fallen off that, this dude would have
17:46
17:46 broke his [ __ ] So, uh this is just me.
17:49
17:49 >> Yeah, probably. You're old, buddy. We're
17:51
17:51 both old. Like, you can't fall from
17:53
17:53 heights.
17:55
17:55 And trust me, there there was a few
17:56
17:56 other things I wanted to climb that day
17:57
17:57 and unfortunately it did not work. Uh or
17:60
18:00 I didn't want to try because I was like,
18:01
18:01 dude, getting on this tree right here, I
18:04
18:04 probably would have ate [ __ ] Um so
18:06
18:06 that's my first pick. If any of these
18:07
18:07 others I hope these other ones work. Um
18:10
18:10 Oh, it's not going to work. Oh, damn it.
18:12
18:12 Um
18:13
18:13 >> this is not
18:15
18:15 >> Nope. Uh it's not working. Okay, so
18:18
18:18 basically what I had here to share with
18:20
18:20 you guys was um there was a map. There's
18:23
18:23 some steps. There's a bunch of stuff
18:24
18:24 that I did which would have been pretty
18:25
18:25 cool to show off. Um, but on that trip
18:28
18:28 did about like uh what was it like six
18:31
18:31 mi how many miles do we do? Like six
18:32
18:32 miles or whatever. Um, we went deep in
18:34
18:34 there. And again, it's it's easier to
18:37
18:37 talk about when you can actually see it,
18:39
18:39 but you can't.
18:40
18:40 >> Hey, wait. Were you wearing like tick
18:41
18:41 spray and [ __ ] I don't want you get
18:42
18:42 like Lyme disease where you get allergic
18:44
18:44 to red meat. Were you wearing bug spray
18:46
18:46 and [ __ ]
18:47
18:47 >> Um, I was not wearing
18:49
18:49 >> Oh, you're gonna get Did you check your
18:50
18:50 body for ticks? You better have checked
18:52
18:52 for ticks. did check. Okay, check this
18:54
18:54 out. When you know, see me standing on
18:55
18:55 that tree right there. Um, it takes up
18:57
18:57 to 3 days, I think, for Lyme disease to
18:59
18:59 kick in if I'm not mistaken. You're
19:01
19:01 [ __ ]
19:01
19:01 >> So, you're [ __ ]
19:02
19:02 >> Um, because I didn't have to deal with
19:05
19:05 that. Um,
19:06
19:06 >> yeah, there's no
19:07
19:07 >> Lyme disease and I actually survived
19:10
19:10 that whole trip.
19:11
19:11 >> Are you sure? Are you sure? Did you
19:12
19:12 check your body? I'm telling you. Did
19:14
19:14 you check your body for ticks? Ticks are
19:15
19:15 a high rate right now. If you're not
19:17
19:17 aware, ticks are high.
19:18
19:18 >> I checked every part of it, dog, and I
19:21
19:21 did not have anything. So, okay,
19:22
19:22 >> I I survived it. Um, but yeah, it was a
19:24
19:24 lovely day out there and that was my
19:26
19:26 quick trip and it ended at the beach and
19:28
19:28 if my shit's not showing up, then I
19:30
19:30 can't show you anyways.
19:31
19:31 >> You could always just send them to Mia
19:33
19:33 and Mia can put them in and I can just
19:34
19:34 go like this. Okay.
19:35
19:35 >> Wow. Beautiful. Look at that view.
19:37
19:37 >> There you go.
19:38
19:38 >> Yeah, there's my view. That was me how I
19:40
19:40 ended the beach. A day at the beach, but
19:42
19:42 that was just my quick trip. Um,
19:44
19:44 >> you look relaxed.
19:44
19:44 >> That's supposed to be more exciting than
19:46
19:46 that, but didn't work out. But yeah,
19:48
19:48 dude. That's how that goes.
19:50
19:50 >> All right, buddy. Hey, I'm glad you went
19:52
19:52 on a six mile trip. A little hikey hike,
19:54
19:54 you know, up in the mountains.
19:56
19:56 Beautiful. I'm glad. I'm also happy you
19:58
19:58 didn't Wait, when's the last time you
19:59
19:59 ate red meat? Have you tried it yet? Are
20:01
20:01 you allergic? You don't know cuz you
20:02
20:02 didn't.
20:03
20:03 >> No, I am Am I allergic to red meat?
20:06
20:06 [ __ ] No, I'm not allergic to red meat.
20:09
20:09 Although, I have been eating a lot of
20:10
20:10 fruits and lately. Had a bunch of
20:12
20:12 watermelon today. So,
20:16
20:16 >> all right. Speaking of food, buddy,
20:17
20:17 let's head on over to the next topic.
20:19
20:19 says, "Taste of October." It is
20:22
20:22 September 1st, uh, when this releases.
20:24
20:24 Uh, happy Halloweenish. You know, we're
20:28
20:28 getting, we're in the fall season for
20:30
20:30 myself, at least now. Joshua still
20:31
20:31 thinks we're in [ __ ] summer. Uh, I'm
20:33
20:33 already fall mode. I'm wearing one of
20:35
20:35 the Sorry for the delay uh, special
20:37
20:37 edition limited edition t-shirts uh,
20:39
20:39 that we did last year for Halloween.
20:41
20:41 Can't wait to do some more limited
20:43
20:43 edition t-shirts this year. It's going
20:44
20:44 to be fun. I think we're just going to
20:45
20:45 do one again cuz I'm very lazy this
20:47
20:47 year. Uh, but we'll add these ones to
20:49
20:49 the collections. Anyways, Taste of
20:51
20:51 October, Joshua, a few weeks ago, almost
20:55
20:55 a month now.
20:56
20:56 >> I did something on this podcast that you
20:58
20:58 were like, "Oh, you should probably try
21:01
21:01 to do that in real life." And I said,
21:02
21:02 "Uh, maybe." Like, I'll try. I did.
21:05
21:05 >> Oh, maybe I will. And guess what, buddy?
21:07
21:07 Today's that [ __ ] day. To honor the
21:10
21:10 start for me, for personal reasons, the
21:12
21:12 start of fall, I decided to do
21:15
21:15 something. Now, I'm going to share my
21:17
21:17 screen with the people watching and the
21:18
21:18 people listening, including Joshua, cuz
21:21
21:21 he is very beautiful. Uh, and I got to
21:24
21:24 show you first what we are supposed to
21:26
21:26 be making here. So, the thing I chose to
21:28
21:28 make, buddy, is this right here. I chose
21:31
21:31 to make these pineapple
21:33
21:33 uh, sorry, these pineapple vampire
21:35
21:35 rings. Okay, this is the idea. This is
21:39
21:39 the idea, ladies and germs. All right,
21:42
21:42 Joshua, let me show the ingredients I
21:44
21:44 started off with. Okay, I got to show
21:45
21:45 you what I started off with. So, here we
21:47
21:47 go. These are the ingredients. I, as you
21:49
21:49 can see, I got everything I needed. I
21:51
21:51 got everything I need, baby.
21:53
21:53 >> This is going to go bad.
21:54
21:54 >> This is everything I need. I got the
21:55
21:55 chocolate. I got the peanles. I got the
21:58
21:58 eyeballs. Right. I got I got the I got
22:00
22:00 the the icing over here down on the
22:02
22:02 corner. I got everything I need. Right,
22:05
22:05 Joshua? I don't know if you're ready for
22:07
22:07 this, but I don't know if you're ready
22:08
22:08 to see
22:09
22:09 >> what these [ __ ] came out as.
22:12
22:12 >> All right, that's that's enough time.
22:14
22:14 Here you go, buddy. This is this is how
22:16
22:16 they came out. There they are.
22:20
22:20 Now, you may be asking yourself, ladies
22:22
22:22 and gentlemen, if you're not watching
22:23
22:23 this, then you may be asking yourself,
22:25
22:25 "Oh, how do they look?" Uh, I think they
22:26
22:26 look immaculate. I think they look
22:27
22:27 perfect. They came out exactly as
22:29
22:29 pictured. They are pineapples dipped in
22:31
22:31 chocolate with little fangs and little
22:32
22:32 eyeballs, right? But those of you who
22:35
22:35 are watching may be asking, uh, why do
22:37
22:37 the ones on the bottom not have any
22:39
22:39 chocolate? Well, I'll tell you, buddy.
22:40
22:40 I'll tell you a little story about
22:42
22:42 chocolate real quick here.
22:44
22:44 Apparently, apparently,
22:46
22:46 sorry.
22:47
22:47 >> Apparently,
22:49
22:49 chocolate can lose its temperature and
22:52
22:52 clump up into a really gross ball. Uh, I
22:55
22:55 didn't take a picture of that cuz I
22:56
22:56 threw that away, but that is what
22:58
22:58 happened. I was able to do my three best
23:01
23:01 ones on the very top. So, here are my
23:02
23:02 three best ones. You can see there. Uh,
23:04
23:04 I did those ones and then the chocolate
23:06
23:06 got out of temperature because I didn't
23:09
23:09 pat those little pineapples dry enough
23:11
23:11 and so their moisture Yeah, got into
23:14
23:14 that and just [ ] it. It just [ ]
23:16
23:16 it hard. Uh, but I do have them uh right
23:20
23:20 here with me, buddy. So, here they are.
23:22
23:22 Here are the beautiful uh pineapple
23:24
23:24 rings. Uh, they are right. They look
23:27
23:27 even better in person. They look even
23:29
23:29 better. I haven't tried one yet, so I'm
23:30
23:30 going to try one on camera. Uh, because
23:33
23:33 I know Joshua was wanting me to do that.
23:35
23:35 So, here you go. I got I got one. I lost
23:37
23:37 his eye. Uh, here you go.
23:38
23:38 >> And why you try that? I want to ask a
23:40
23:40 >> This is a food channel now, apparently.
23:42
23:42 Oh,
23:42
23:42 >> I think you should find Do you guys If
23:45
23:45 you guys get trick-or-treaters,
23:46
23:46 >> I would ass
23:50
23:50 have one of your trick-or-treaters try
23:51
23:51 it, too. That would be [ __ ]
23:52
23:52 hilarious.
23:53
23:53 >> I don't like that.
23:55
23:55 >> Oh, I think the chocolate tastes like
23:56
23:56 boho.
23:57
23:57 >> This is You saw the chocolate.
23:59
23:59 >> It's Gardelli's chocolate.
24:01
24:01 >> The pineapple tastes gross.
24:03
24:03 >> It It's been sitting in the refrigerator
24:05
24:05 for like an hour. Now, my mouth is
24:08
24:08 chocolatey and pineapple gross. It's
24:10
24:10 weird. And those fake eyes are just
24:15
24:15 I don't like it. I don't like it. This
24:17
24:17 is all you, buddy. I'm gonna hand you
24:19
24:19 the plate and you [ __ ] Here you go.
24:20
24:20 Just take
24:21
24:21 >> I am not touching that.
24:22
24:22 >> No [ __ ]
24:23
24:23 >> Not touch that.
24:24
24:24 >> Someone said,
24:24
24:24 >> "Did I actually say I would try that?" I
24:26
24:26 don't think I said I would try that. Did
24:27
24:27 I?
24:27
24:27 >> I think you did say you would try that
24:29
24:29 one to be honest. So, there you go.
24:32
24:32 That's all I wanted to do. Give you
24:33
24:33 something real fun, real visual on that
24:35
24:35 one. So, taste of October. Hello, spooky
24:38
24:38 season. We're in it. We're in it, buddy.
24:40
24:40 We're in it. More fun [ __ ] like that's
24:42
24:42 coming. I guarantee it. Maybe not by me,
24:44
24:44 but by somebody in this podcast.
24:46
24:46 >> He wants October to be here so bad.
24:48
24:48 >> So [ __ ] bad, my dude. So bad.
24:50
24:50 >> And then it's here and then it's all
24:51
24:51 gone. Then it's gone. And
24:52
24:52 >> you got to let it you. That's why people
24:54
24:54 want it longer. That's why I'm saying we
24:55
24:55 got to start it now because I want to go
24:57
24:57 through an entire 16 months of it. You
25:00
25:00 know, that's what I want. That's what I
25:02
25:02 want because you're right. It does come
25:03
25:03 quickly and then it it flutters away
25:06
25:06 like a beautiful little butterfly or
25:08
25:08 like an AI song. you know, just comes
25:12
25:12 and goes real quickly.
25:13
25:13 >> Comes and goes. Like right now, it's
25:15
25:15 going to come and it's gonna go. All
25:17
25:17 right. Well, Sean, uh Sean gave me back
25:19
25:19 the reigns and I've had it for what,
25:21
25:21 maybe two weeks now. I forget how many
25:23
25:23 weeks I've had the uh the AI quarters in
25:26
25:26 my hand. So, um this week is just
25:28
25:28 another, you know, I I don't really know
25:30
25:30 how you're going to receive this song,
25:32
25:32 Sean. This isn't country. This isn't
25:35
25:35 going to be this isn't going to be rap.
25:37
25:37 And unfortunately, this is not another
25:39
25:39 parody song, you know, um, like we
25:42
25:42 discussed.
25:43
25:43 >> Yeah. About more tires.
25:45
25:45 >> So, you're just going to have to press
25:47
25:47 play and you're just, you know, you're
25:49
25:49 going to have to let me know. So, the
25:50
25:50 song, the title of the song is called
25:51
25:51 Faded Corners.
25:52
25:52 >> Okay.
25:53
25:53 >> Um, let me know what you think. Uh,
25:57
25:57 yeah, that's all I have to say.
25:59
25:59 >> All right. Short, sweet, to the point.
26:00
26:00 Here we go. Share my screen. Let's get
26:02
26:02 it. Three, two, one, launch.
26:21
26:21 I'm walking through the corners where
26:23
26:23 the colors used to bloom. Dusty little
26:27
26:27 memories drifting in the afternoon. Your
26:30
26:30 shadows on the pavement like it's
26:32
26:32 waiting for a cue. But I'm breathing in
26:35
26:35 the quiet now. Learning something new.
26:38
26:38 Static in the air, but it's softer than
26:41
26:41 before. I hear you in the echoes, but
26:44
26:44 you're not here anymore. The sunlight
26:47
26:47 hits my shoulders like it's telling me
26:50
26:50 to move. And every step I'm taking finds
26:53
26:53 a different kind of truth. Echo in the
26:56
26:56 sunlight.
26:58
26:58 Fading, but they still feel warm.
27:04
27:04 Carried by the rhythm of a heart that's
27:07
27:07 slowly being reborn.
27:12
27:12 I'm letting all the pieces fall exactly
27:15
27:15 where they want to land.
27:21
27:21 Echo in the sunlight. I'm learning how
27:25
27:25 to understand.
27:33
27:33 I'm tracing all the outlines of the
27:35
27:35 words we never said. Finding little
27:38
27:38 fragments in the space you left instead.
27:41
27:41 The breeze is pulling forward and it's
27:44
27:44 tugging at my chest. But somehow in the
27:47
27:47 motion, I can finally get some rest.
27:50
27:50 Static in the air, but it's softer than
27:53
27:53 before. I hear you in the echoes, but
27:56
27:56 you're not here anymore. The sunlight
27:59
27:59 hits my shoulders like it's telling me
28:01
28:01 to move. And every step I'm taking finds
28:05
28:05 a different kind of truth. Echo in the
28:08
28:08 sunlight
28:10
28:10 fading, but they still feel warm.
28:15
28:15 Carried by the rhythm of a heart that's
28:18
28:18 slowly being reborn.
28:23
28:23 I'm letting all the pieces fall exactly
28:27
28:27 where they want to land.
28:32
28:32 Echoes in the sunlight. I'm learning how
28:36
28:36 to understand.
28:41
28:41 There's a quiet little moment where the
28:44
28:44 world begins to bend. A shimmer in the
28:47
28:47 distance like a message you would send.
28:50
28:50 I hold it for a second, then I let it
28:53
28:53 drift away. Some echoes aren't for
28:55
28:55 keeping. They're just here to light the
28:58
28:58 way.
29:14
29:14 Echoes in the sunlight
29:17
29:17 glowing as they disappear.
29:22
29:22 Guiding me through everything I used to
29:27
29:27 hold so near.
29:30
29:30 I'm stepping into something bright. I'm
29:34
29:34 letting myself stand.
29:39
29:39 Echo in the sunlight. I finally
29:44
29:44 understand.
29:52
29:52 All right. Okay. All right, Joshua. Hey,
29:55
29:55 I [ __ ] with that. That was good.
29:57
29:57 Enjoyed that a lot. Um, it actually kind
29:59
29:59 of made me have I had this idea now.
30:03
30:03 Joshua, what if what if when we came
30:05
30:05 back from vacation, because Behind the
30:07
30:07 Baseball, we're still recording all
30:08
30:08 these episodes. We're still on vacation.
30:09
30:09 Uh Joshua, what if when we came back
30:11
30:11 from vacation, I wrote the lyrics to a
30:14
30:14 song, but you had to put it to whatever
30:17
30:17 melody and AI beat that you think it
30:19
30:19 would go to.
30:21
30:21 >> Okay, I'm up for the challenge.
30:22
30:22 >> Okay,
30:23
30:23 >> I like that.
30:23
30:23 >> I like that idea.
30:25
30:25 >> Yeah. Yeah, I'm totally down for that
30:27
30:27 idea. So, you're going to have to make
30:29
30:29 sure you give me some kind of guy.
30:32
30:32 >> When you give me just
30:33
30:33 >> a wide open lens,
30:35
30:35 >> I'm going to No, buddy. I'm just going
30:36
30:36 to I'm going to write the lyric. Like
30:37
30:37 I'll I'm going to get a I'm going to
30:38
30:38 write the lyrics like I would usually
30:40
30:40 write a song, right? I'll have my own
30:41
30:41 rhythm and beat that I think it goes to
30:43
30:43 and then I'm just going to write the
30:44
30:44 lyrics out and I'm just going to send
30:46
30:46 you the lyrics. I'm going to be a ghost
30:47
30:47 writer for you, buddy. You just got you
30:49
30:49 got to figure out the music. All right.
30:50
30:50 You got to make it work. So, there you
30:52
30:52 go.
30:53
30:53 >> Okay.
30:53
30:53 >> I love this.
30:54
30:54 >> I love that. I love this.
30:55
30:55 >> It's like a fortune cookie of just
30:56
30:56 create your own kind of style and I like
30:59
30:59 that. Okay.
30:59
30:59 >> We got to evolve sometime, buddy. We got
31:01
31:01 to evolve sometime.
31:03
31:03 >> I love it. I love it. Okay. Challenge
31:04
31:04 accepted. That's That song was great,
31:06
31:06 dude. I I actually really enjoyed that
31:07
31:07 and I think I think a few people
31:08
31:08 listening will actually enjoy that a
31:10
31:10 lot, too. So, there's that. There you
31:11
31:11 go.
31:11
31:11 >> Thank you.
31:12
31:12 >> But let's move on.
31:13
31:13 >> Crunchy, smooth, or nope.
31:15
31:15 >> Joshua,
31:17
31:17 >> way back in our first few episodes, uh,
31:20
31:20 I asked you a very simple, controversial
31:22
31:22 question that we can bring back right
31:24
31:24 now. Joshua, are you a
31:26
31:26 >> chunky peanut butter or a smooth peanut
31:29
31:29 butter guy? I know the answer to this
31:31
31:31 and I think most people know the answer
31:32
31:32 to this as well, but go ahead, buddy.
31:34
31:34 Answer it anyway. so I can be
31:35
31:35 disappointed and spit on your face.
31:36
31:36 >> All right. Well, let's revisit this. I
31:39
31:39 prefer texture. I prefer curves
31:42
31:42 >> and I prefer thing I prefer things that
31:44
31:44 just kind of hang out in your mouth a
31:45
31:45 little bit longer than just something
31:47
31:47 smooth and creamy, you know? I need
31:48
31:48 texture. I need a bite.
31:50
31:50 >> Okay.
31:51
31:51 >> I want to I want to feel it.
31:53
31:53 >> So texture crunchy
31:55
31:55 >> is is is Yeah. Yeah. The chunky g give
31:58
31:58 me give me full figured peanut butter.
32:00
32:00 >> Yeah. Yeah. Ladies and gentlemen,
32:02
32:02 everybody is entitled to an opinion.
32:04
32:04 Joshua's opinion is incorrect. It is
32:06
32:06 wrong in every single [ __ ] way. And I
32:09
32:09 am disappointed every other day that he
32:10
32:10 tells me about this. But that led me to
32:12
32:12 think about this next Q&A for you,
32:15
32:15 buddy. Uh chunky, smooth, or nope. I'm
32:18
32:18 going to go through a few a few
32:20
32:20 different food types, some of them not
32:22
32:22 food. Uh and you have to tell me whether
32:24
32:24 you prefer it chunky, smooth, or you're
32:27
32:27 just not doing it. Okay? Like you're not
32:29
32:29 eating it or not using it. Okay.
32:31
32:31 >> Okay. I like this.
32:32
32:32 >> All right. Here we go. We already know
32:34
32:34 the first one, which is peanut butter.
32:35
32:35 He likes it chunky. He's weird. What
32:37
32:37 about applesauce, buddy?
32:40
32:40 >> Apples? I haven't had applesauce in a
32:41
32:41 long time. I couldn't imagine applesauce
32:43
32:43 being chunky.
32:44
32:44 >> Okay.
32:45
32:45 >> But I do like the pulp in my orange
32:48
32:48 juice. So, a little bit of bite. So, if
32:50
32:50 I mean, I guess if you added, you know,
32:53
32:53 some slivers of apples in my apple sauce
32:56
32:56 to give it some bite instead of soup.
32:58
32:58 You know, I have I still have teeth is
32:60
33:00 what I'm getting at. I want to use them
33:02
33:02 as long as I have them.
33:05
33:05 >> Okay. All right. Sure.
33:07
33:07 >> So, I got them. I got them. So, I want
33:09
33:09 to chew.
33:12
33:12 >> You would prefer chunky applesauce,
33:13
33:13 which I mean, you could argue would be
33:15
33:15 like pie filling, right? Because like
33:17
33:17 it's cinnamon sugar. Oh, that's right.
33:18
33:18 You know, you could probably argue that
33:19
33:19 fact.
33:20
33:20 >> So, I get that. I I'm okay with that.
33:22
33:22 Uh, but what about mashed potatoes? Do
33:24
33:24 you want your mashed potatoes chunky?
33:26
33:26 >> Okay. Okay, so I had some I had some
33:27
33:27 whipped mashed potatoes the other day
33:29
33:29 and they were they were pretty good.
33:30
33:30 They were creamy, they were whipped,
33:32
33:32 they were nice.
33:33
33:33 >> Um had them with like chicken breast and
33:34
33:34 some other stuff. So again, context,
33:36
33:36 what am I eating it with? But again,
33:39
33:39 a a good tasting potato
33:42
33:42 >> is great. So, if you could somehow whip
33:45
33:45 up and be that magic chef that you could
33:47
33:47 put a sliver or enough of a potato in a
33:52
33:52 smooth smashed or mashed whipped potato,
33:55
33:55 I would I would enjoy a bite. I would I
33:57
33:57 would enjoy a bite of a nice potato.
34:01
34:01 >> Okay.
34:01
34:01 >> Hidden amongst like an Easter egg within
34:04
34:04 my whipped potato.
34:06
34:06 >> Okay. Sure. What about scrambled eggs,
34:09
34:09 buddy? You really want chunky scrambled
34:11
34:11 eggs? Is that what you're telling me?
34:12
34:12 >> Oh gosh. chunky. No, I I tend to I tend
34:15
34:15 to do my scrambled eggs on a little bit
34:17
34:17 of the creamier side.
34:19
34:19 >> Okay.
34:19
34:19 >> Um because overdone
34:22
34:22 scrambled eggs is just they're dry,
34:24
34:24 they're nasty. So then you would go into
34:26
34:26 the chunk.
34:27
34:27 >> So I would I like my you know, some
34:31
34:31 might say I underdo my eggs, but don't
34:33
34:33 eat my eggs. You know, it's fine.
34:35
34:35 >> Okay.
34:36
34:36 >> I mean, not everybody deserves to be
34:37
34:37 fertilized by this guy. Um so
34:43
34:43 Okay, here. Last one on this one and
34:46
34:46 then I'm going to pivot to something
34:47
34:47 else.
34:48
34:48 >> What about jam or jelly?
34:52
34:52 >> Jam. Oh, you know, I buy the uh what is
34:55
34:55 it? The the preserve. Is that the one
34:56
34:56 with the Is that the one with the bites
34:58
34:58 in it?
34:58
34:58 >> Okay. So, you do you like it chunky? You
35:00
35:00 just like everything chunky, dude. It's
35:02
35:02 weird. No, I think what it is is just I
35:05
35:05 enjoy the taste because there's an
35:07
35:07 explosion of flavor when you take a bite
35:10
35:10 of something.
35:12
35:12 >> You know, it's kind of like, okay,
35:14
35:14 people I know love boba in their drinks,
35:16
35:16 but why are you really getting the boba?
35:18
35:18 Are you really Are you really swallowing
35:19
35:19 the balls whole? I think most people,
35:23
35:23 right? Am I wrong?
35:29
35:29 Oh, the internet's not going to like
35:30
35:30 that one.
35:33
35:33 I mean, I don't know. Like, am I wrong?
35:36
35:36 Am I wrong? Cuz I mean, you buy the
35:38
35:38 creamy whipped, you it's a blended boba
35:41
35:41 tea or whatever it is, and then you get
35:42
35:42 those fat balls at the bottom of it, and
35:45
35:45 then when they hit your mouth or your
35:47
35:47 lips, your teeth, you chew on them. You
35:48
35:48 chew on the nuts. You chew on the balls.
35:50
35:50 So, again, it's a little bit of chunk,
35:53
35:53 >> a little bit of funk, you know, like it
35:55
35:55 is. It is what it is, you know? Like you
35:58
35:58 >> I get it. I get it.
35:60
36:00 >> Understandable. You're just a chunky
36:02
36:02 guy. I get it. You're like a little
36:03
36:03 chunk.
36:03
36:03 >> Love it.
36:04
36:04 >> Um
36:04
36:04 >> like full bodied things.
36:06
36:06 >> Now, if you wouldn't mind, I'm going to
36:07
36:07 pivot just a little bit. And now this is
36:09
36:09 going to be this is going to be more of
36:12
36:12 >> would you eat it? Uh except not visual.
36:14
36:14 You just got to let me know yes or no.
36:16
36:16 I'm going to give you a few of these
36:17
36:17 ones. Uh you just got to go with these
36:19
36:19 these word visuals I'm about to give
36:21
36:21 you, buddy. Uh raisins in cookies. Would
36:25
36:25 you eat it?
36:25
36:25 >> Uh uh yeah, go for it. Sure, I'll eat
36:28
36:28 it.
36:29
36:29 You didn't sound convincing enough on
36:30
36:30 that one. Like you what? You're thumbing
36:32
36:32 it up your ass kind of thing or what?
36:35
36:35 >> No, because I've had raisins in good
36:36
36:36 cookies and the in the cookie. It was
36:38
36:38 good. So, I could I could do it. Yeah, I
36:40
36:40 could eat it. Sure.
36:41
36:41 >> Pineapple.
36:42
36:42 >> I'm just not going to deny every raisin
36:44
36:44 in a cookie, you know? I'm not a
36:45
36:45 freaking raisin racist, you know? I'm
36:48
36:48 going to [ __ ] eat it.
36:51
36:51 >> Like, raisins are good. Like, just
36:54
36:54 remember what a raisin was before it got
36:56
36:56 to that state. It was a grape. I love
36:57
36:57 grapes. So, I'm not gonna deny it just
36:59
36:59 because it changed form. Like, I'm gonna
37:01
37:01 I'm gonna accept it the way it shows up
37:04
37:04 and it become the grape becomes the
37:06
37:06 raisin.
37:06
37:06 >> Okay. What about pineapple on pizza?
37:09
37:09 >> Pineapple on pizza. I've had it. I will
37:12
37:12 eat it. If somebody else orders it that
37:14
37:14 way.
37:15
37:15 >> Okay. So, you're not opposed to it. You
37:17
37:17 will eat it.
37:18
37:18 >> No, no, no. I'll eat it. It's fine. It's
37:20
37:20 It's another flavor. It's just It's a
37:21
37:21 part of the deal.
37:22
37:22 >> Okay.
37:23
37:23 >> It's the handshake deal. How about soggy
37:26
37:26 cereal?
37:28
37:28 >> No, soggy cereal just that's gross. I
37:32
37:32 kind of feel like it's drool.
37:33
37:33 >> Okay.
37:34
37:34 >> Honestly, like Yeah. Yeah.
37:36
37:36 >> I would have assumed that you thought it
37:37
37:37 would be like an oatmeal cuz isn't
37:39
37:39 oatmeal just soggy cereal?
37:41
37:41 >> Yeah, but I don't eat oatmeal either.
37:43
37:43 >> Oh, really? Is that a is that a texture
37:46
37:46 thing for you or just the flavor?
37:48
37:48 >> Yeah, it's real pasty, you know?
37:50
37:50 >> Yeah. Look at We're learning more about
37:51
37:51 Joshua. All right. I like this.
37:54
37:54 >> Okay. So then does that mean
37:55
37:55 >> does that mean soft French fries aren't
37:57
37:57 your thing or do you like soft French
37:59
37:59 fries?
37:60
37:60 >> I will eat soft French fries, but I will
38:02
38:02 throw out cereal once it's gone soggy.
38:05
38:05 >> Oh, interesting. Weird. Okay.
38:08
38:08 >> When I get to the part of the bowl, you
38:09
38:09 know, it's kind of like layers like when
38:11
38:11 you get to the point of the cereal where
38:13
38:13 it's just kind of mush. So, I really
38:15
38:15 limit, you know, uh cows will love me
38:17
38:17 for this. Um, you know, advocate for
38:19
38:19 more milk and cows. Um, but
38:23
38:23 >> okay. Um, I put as little as milk as
38:27
38:27 possible when I make my cereal. I I
38:29
38:29 really try to balance the ratio so I
38:31
38:31 never end up with a soggy cereal bite.
38:36
38:36 >> Wait,
38:37
38:37 my brain is going a thousand different
38:39
38:39 places right now.
38:40
38:40 >> I know you limit your milk, but this
38:43
38:43 makes me feel like you're one of those
38:45
38:45 people who put water in their cereal.
38:47
38:47 Are you one of those people?
38:48
38:48 >> No. No. I never done it. The only time
38:50
38:50 that would be acceptable is if you had
38:51
38:51 like cocoa puffs cuz then it basically
38:53
38:53 turns to like
38:55
38:55 >> cocoa water or drink. Whatever.
38:57
38:57 >> Wait, what?
38:58
38:58 >> Yeah.
38:58
38:58 >> Yeah, that works.
38:59
38:59 >> That is never acceptable. Do not put
39:01
39:01 water in your cereal, everybody. Don't
39:03
39:03 do that. It's gross.
39:04
39:04 >> Somebody's trying I I can almost
39:06
39:06 guarantee one of our subscriber has done
39:08
39:08 that
39:08
39:08 >> probably.
39:09
39:09 >> And and sipped up the chocolate cocoa at
39:11
39:11 the at the end of it with water. I mean,
39:13
39:13 come on, dude. Got to be resourceful.
39:15
39:15 You're out camping.
39:16
39:16 >> You got to be resourceful. I get it. I
39:17
39:17 get it. And somebody inevitably in this
39:19
39:19 short's going to be like, "What? You
39:20
39:20 hate poor people?" And I'm going to go.
39:23
39:23 >> I don't think that's where you're going
39:24
39:24 with that, but that's fine.
39:26
39:26 >> Exactly. Internet's [ __ ] Uh, last
39:28
39:28 question, buddy. What about extra crispy
39:32
39:32 bacon? How do you feel about that? Yes
39:34
39:34 or no?
39:35
39:35 >> Um, no. I think that's a travesty. I
39:37
39:37 think I think that I
39:38
39:38 >> The guy who likes crunch doesn't like
39:40
39:40 extra crispy bacon.
39:42
39:42 >> No. No.
39:43
39:43 >> Are you a soggy bacon guy? Is that what
39:45
39:45 it is?
39:46
39:46 >> Not soggy. No, because I think there's
39:48
39:48 always a fine line between soggy versus
39:50
39:50 hard crunch. Like if it
39:52
39:52 >> if you hold it up and it doesn't have a
39:54
39:54 little bit of a bend or a curve to it,
39:56
39:56 you know?
39:57
39:57 >> Like I don't want that bacon so hard up
39:59
39:59 on Viagra that the [ __ ] blue pill
40:01
40:01 just jacked it to the main to the vein,
40:04
40:04 you know?
40:04
40:04 >> Got it. Got it. Got it.
40:05
40:05 >> I
40:06
40:06 >> I do not want that thing to be a boat
40:07
40:07 anchor. I don't want it to be stiff to
40:10
40:10 be a boat anchor. Oh, [ __ ]
40:12
40:12 >> Like I I mean, come on. Cuz then you
40:13
40:13 cook the flavor out of it, right? If you
40:15
40:15 could I think if you render that you
40:17
40:17 cook it too far
40:18
40:18 >> now it's just a a mangled piece of thin
40:21
40:21 meat
40:22
40:22 >> and it has no flavor
40:25
40:25 >> it's done. Nobody wants to Nobody I mean
40:27
40:27 maybe you like that. I mean I guess
40:30
40:30 >> I love this song. Oh man. All right
40:33
40:33 buddy. That was it. That's all I had for
40:35
40:35 a crunchy smoother nope. Hopefully
40:36
40:36 hopefully everybody had a good time with
40:38
40:38 that. Uh Joshua, shall we move on to the
40:41
40:41 final topic or do I need to prepare
40:43
40:43 myself for this one? What what is going
40:44
40:44 on with this one?
40:45
40:45 >> No, cuz I mean we talked about a lot of
40:47
40:47 stuff and hopefully that last segment
40:49
40:49 got you a little happy. I'm just trying
40:50
40:50 to transition out of what Sean may have
40:52
40:52 to for legal purposes cut out in the
40:54
40:54 beginning of this. Um, so I I I just
40:57
40:57 kind of want to end it with a couple
40:58
40:58 happy little notes here.
41:00
41:00 >> Sure.
41:01
41:01 >> And this is all about Disney. And I know
41:05
41:05 Sean's most happiest place is Disney.
41:09
41:09 >> I wanted to wear like a wizard hat for
41:11
41:11 this, but I didn't have time. Um, Amazon
41:14
41:14 could not move that quick because I feel
41:17
41:17 like in order to ask strong questions,
41:19
41:19 you got to get in the spirit. And I'm
41:20
41:20 gonna whip some of these questions up
41:22
41:22 for you, Sean. And hopefully you know
41:25
41:25 the answers to these song or to these
41:28
41:28 answers to these questions. Sorry. Oh
41:30
41:30 god.
41:30
41:30 >> Um, I'm stumbling.
41:32
41:32 >> Uh, but yeah, let's see. Let's see if
41:34
41:34 you know um some of the answers to this
41:36
41:36 because this is your happy place. So
41:38
41:38 maybe you know maybe you know some
41:39
41:39 answers. Listen, for the record, Josh
41:41
41:41 was going to grill me on some Disney
41:43
41:43 trivia. I don't know a lot about the
41:45
41:45 history of Disney. I just like going to
41:48
41:48 Disney California Adventure and getting
41:50
41:50 drunk. That's what I like. Okay. So,
41:53
41:53 Joshua, go ahead. Lay it on me. Let me
41:54
41:54 figure out these questions.
41:56
41:56 >> Okay. All right. We're going to start
41:57
41:57 with food because we were talking about
41:59
41:59 food earlier and uh maybe you know the
42:01
42:01 answer to this. Sean, when it comes to
42:03
42:03 your happy place, Disneyland,
42:07
42:07 >> which sells more at Disneyland? Churros
42:09
42:09 or turkey legs?
42:11
42:11 >> Oh, churros by a long shot. Like, it's
42:14
42:14 not even a question. So,
42:16
42:16 >> is that your final answer?
42:17
42:17 >> Yeah, I'm going to say yes.
42:20
42:20 >> Actually, turkey legs.
42:21
42:21 >> Ah, your information's wrong.
42:23
42:23 >> Sold more
42:24
42:24 >> than churros. N
42:26
42:26 >> I I don't I mean, hey,
42:27
42:27 >> that's wrong.
42:27
42:27 >> That's wrong. I I need to use a
42:29
42:29 different a different resource.
42:30
42:30 >> You need to use a different resource. Uh
42:31
42:31 we have to go over to a Disney historian
42:34
42:34 uh because that is incorrect. They do
42:36
42:36 not sell more mate. Now granted, hang
42:39
42:39 on, hang on, hang on. Let me let me hear
42:41
42:41 this out for a second.
42:42
42:42 >> Turkey legs cost about double the amount
42:46
42:46 a churro does, right? So maybe they're
42:48
42:48 looking at it in terms of like price
42:50
42:50 point. Like is if you're selling if
42:52
42:52 you're for every two turkey legs, you're
42:54
42:54 selling one churo, right? Then at that
42:56
42:56 price, yeah, you're [ __ ] selling more
42:58
42:58 turkey legs. But yeah, or the opposite.
43:01
43:01 You're selling two churros.
43:02
43:02 >> I wonder if more people share turkey
43:04
43:04 legs. That's why like it's a sharable
43:05
43:05 thing. So then you can get more people
43:07
43:07 buying and more people just divvying it
43:09
43:09 up.
43:10
43:10 >> Maybe
43:11
43:11 >> it's a sharable so you could get more
43:13
43:13 consumption out of one big ass
43:16
43:16 >> a few I think this was earlier in the
43:17
43:17 year but I had my first like actual
43:19
43:19 turkey leg uh here at the uh the state
43:22
43:22 fair. Dude, that thing was [ __ ]
43:23
43:23 amazing. I still think about it. Uh but
43:26
43:26 have you ever
43:27
43:27 >> think about it?
43:28
43:28 >> Yeah, you hear that everyone. You still
43:30
43:30 think about it. It was [ __ ] great.
43:33
43:33 >> Uh it was perfectly smoked and
43:34
43:34 everything. I loved it. Uh but like
43:38
43:38 those are really difficult to eat.
43:40
43:40 >> So your theory about maybe they do it
43:42
43:42 and they share it and it's a very good
43:43
43:43 sharable snack. It is. It is. It's also
43:45
43:45 very salty. Uh but I would agree with
43:47
43:47 you 100%. So
43:49
43:49 >> Okay. All right. This is some sneaky
43:51
43:51 these are sneaky questions.
43:53
43:53 >> Hope you know the answer to these.
43:55
43:55 >> Um I think I think you're going to know
43:57
43:57 the answer to this one. Okay. Sean,
43:59
43:59 where is Walt Disney's hidden apartment
44:02
44:02 located in Disneyland?
44:03
44:03 >> Oh, I do know this one. Uh, it is in it
44:05
44:05 is it's above the firehouse station. So,
44:10
44:10 >> we're at on on Main Street. Main Street.
44:12
44:12 >> There you go. Ding ding ding
44:14
44:14 >> ding ding ding, baby. You can actually
44:15
44:15 take a tour there. Uh, which is pretty
44:17
44:17 cool. Uh, you can actually go inside the
44:19
44:19 apartment. There also some Hang on.
44:21
44:21 Let's bring it back to a little a little
44:22
44:22 spooky real quick. There also have been
44:25
44:25 some
44:27
44:27 >> paranormal activity that has gone down.
44:29
44:29 So Joshua, there is a lamp in the Walt
44:33
44:33 Disney apartment that is never supposed
44:35
44:35 to be turned off, right? That is the the
44:37
44:37 the ongoing thing. They're never turning
44:39
44:39 off the lamp. It's it's supposed to
44:40
44:40 signify a Walt is there, right? Uh
44:43
44:43 >> there have been multiple cast members
44:45
44:45 who say that they've had the lamp turn
44:48
44:48 off and on or like it will flicker when
44:51
44:51 it like nobody's there and stuff like
44:53
44:53 that. And this lamp is like,
44:56
44:56 >> you know, it's not old, but it's not
44:57
44:57 like
44:58
44:58 >> it's not on faulty wiring, I'll tell you
44:60
44:60 that. And so people have had these weird
45:01
45:01 experiences inside Walt's apartment,
45:03
45:03 which is interesting. You know, maybe
45:05
45:05 gives you afterlife vibes. So fun
45:08
45:08 things.
45:09
45:09 >> I mean, yeah. Well, if you believe I
45:10
45:10 mean, we're getting into spooky season.
45:11
45:11 I wonder if there's going to be some
45:12
45:12 more trippy paranormal activity
45:14
45:14 happening with that lamp.
45:17
45:17 >> But there is. But there is.
45:19
45:19 >> Okay. How about this one? Got another
45:20
45:20 one for you along that same vein. Sean,
45:23
45:23 where is the smallest hidden Mickey
45:28
45:28 >> in the park advent or park? In the park.
45:31
45:31 >> In the park. Uh I
45:34
45:34 >> we talking Disneyland or uh Disney
45:36
45:36 California Adventure?
45:38
45:38 >> It's a Okay. The question basically is
45:40
45:40 where is the smallest hidden Mickey?
45:42
45:42 >> Oh,
45:43
45:43 >> in the park.
45:44
45:44 >> Okay. Uh I think it's in DCA. I think
45:46
45:46 it's in like one of the mosaics in like
45:49
45:49 a restaurant or something.
45:51
45:51 >> Is that a close?
45:52
45:52 >> All right. Well, I I I mean I would have
45:54
45:54 been amazed if you would have been able
45:55
45:55 to answer this, but apparently it's in
45:57
45:57 the queue for the Indiana Jones
45:58
45:58 adventure.
45:59
45:59 >> Oh, I guess I she I don't know. I don't
46:03
46:03 know. Sure. Okay. Why not?
46:06
46:06 >> No, that's that's fine. That's fine. All
46:08
46:08 right. Here's another randomass question
46:10
46:10 for Disney while we're at it.
46:12
46:12 >> Sean, why does Disneyland have over 100
46:16
46:16 cats living in the park?
46:18
46:18 >> Uh for rodent control.
46:20
46:20 >> Oh, did you know that for real? Yeah, I
46:22
46:22 didn't know that one for real. Yeah. Uh
46:23
46:23 there was a there was a cat named
46:24
46:24 Ginger. Uh I think she either passed
46:27
46:27 away or they adopted her out and that's
46:29
46:29 what they tell people. But she was like
46:32
46:32 uh she was like one of the most
46:33
46:33 friendliest cats. I got to meet that
46:34
46:34 cat. It was cool.
46:35
46:35 >> But yeah, they're there for rodent
46:37
46:37 control
46:38
46:38 >> which is actually a thing which is very
46:40
46:40 helpful.
46:43
46:43 >> All right, how about this one? Why can't
46:46
46:46 you find a bathroom in the New Orleans
46:48
46:48 Square?
46:50
46:50 Why can't you find a B? You can find a
46:52
46:52 bathroom though in New Orleans. Can you
46:54
46:54 really?
46:54
46:54 >> Yeah, there is a bathroom over there.
46:55
46:55 It's a shitty ass bathroom. But there's
46:58
46:58 a bathroom over there in New Orleans.
46:59
46:59 Like there's one towards the back wall.
47:02
47:02 >> Uh like it's in tucked in a corner, but
47:04
47:04 it's there. Smells like ass. One of the
47:06
47:06 worst.
47:06
47:06 >> That way you're breaking the internet
47:08
47:08 because apparently they're going against
47:10
47:10 Walt wish. Walt's wishes because Walt
47:12
47:12 wanted the historical accuracy. He did
47:15
47:15 not want to put a bathroom there. I
47:17
47:17 guess according to his wishes. So,
47:18
47:18 they're breaking Walt's
47:20
47:20 OG vibe with not having a bathroom
47:23
47:23 there.
47:24
47:24 >> Listen, they've broken Walt's OG vibe
47:27
47:27 multiple times. Like, there's no I don't
47:30
47:30 know. There's very little Walt left in
47:32
47:32 Disneyland proper. Like, it's it's kind
47:34
47:34 of sad, but you know, it's evolution.
47:36
47:36 So, it's ever changing. So,
47:38
47:38 >> all right. One more fun fact,
47:40
47:40 >> or not fun fact, just a just a question.
47:42
47:42 Does Sean know? Does Sean know? Sean,
47:45
47:45 do you know if Disneyland sells gum?
47:50
47:50 >> It does not. For the very reason why I
47:52
47:52 think we should just stop gum sales at
47:55
47:55 all. Like we the amount of litter people
47:58
47:58 will do with their gum is
48:00
48:00 extraordinarily huge. Like there are a
48:03
48:03 bunch of [ __ ] sickos out there who
48:05
48:05 like to just spit their gum on the floor
48:07
48:07 instead of putting it back in the
48:08
48:08 wrapper and throwing it away. So that's
48:10
48:10 why they don't sell gum.
48:13
48:13 >> Okay. Well, everybody, that is Sean's
48:14
48:14 happy place. I don't know if that took
48:16
48:16 him to the happy place. I don't know if
48:17
48:17 it did either to go with that.
48:19
48:19 >> I don't know if it did either. I thought
48:20
48:20 it was going to be like
48:21
48:21 >> I'll get better at it.
48:22
48:22 >> I thought this was going to be like,
48:22
48:22 "Oh, Sean, where is your happiest place
48:25
48:25 in Disneyland?" And I was going to be
48:26
48:26 like, "Oh, that's a great question,
48:28
48:28 Joshua. Uh, I would probably say my
48:30
48:30 happiest place in Disneyland is uh me on
48:32
48:32 the Mark Twain with an alcoholic
48:34
48:34 beverage." You know, that's probably my
48:36
48:36 favorite place. So,
48:37
48:37 >> okay. Well, that was a bonus one. There
48:39
48:39 you go. All right.
48:40
48:40 >> But you can't do that, so don't quote
48:42
48:42 me. I broke it. I broke it. Just like we
48:44
48:44 broke the internet for this episode with
48:46
48:46 all this random ass talk.
48:48
48:48 >> Yes, sir.
48:49
48:49 >> I love it. I love how we go from that to
48:50
48:50 peanut butter to [ __ ] everything,
48:52
48:52 buddy. I love it. Variety of topics on
48:55
48:55 this show. Really, you never know where
48:56
48:56 you're going to end up. We don't even
48:57
48:57 know where we're going to end up. That
48:58
48:58 just kind of happens.
48:59
48:59 >> Just kind of like where we're going to
49:01
49:01 go now and land this plane, as we say.
49:04
49:04 >> Getting to the end of this episode,
49:05
49:05 buddy.
49:06
49:06 >> We have a few things left to do on this
49:08
49:08 program here. Let's go ahead and give
49:10
49:10 the people their fun finds. lucky
49:12
49:12 numbers, a fortune. I don't know if
49:14
49:14 actually I don't even know if we got a
49:15
49:15 fortune. Uh let's give them something
49:18
49:18 for the end of getting or I guess
49:20
49:20 getting to the end of this [ __ ] So,
49:22
49:22 what do you got?
49:23
49:23 >> Okay, Sean. All right. I I kind of gave
49:25
49:25 in, you know, on this. I didn't want to
49:27
49:27 do this, but I I'm doing this because
49:29
49:29 we're getting there. It's September 1st.
49:32
49:32 We're sliding down into October
49:34
49:34 >> and I got a ton of [ __ ]
49:36
49:36 >> I knew he would give in. See, that man
49:39
49:39 wants that man wants Halloween, too
49:43
49:43 >> to show off. And I'm gonna kick off this
49:45
49:45 September 1st leading into Halloween
49:49
49:49 with this fun coat. And Sean did ask me
49:51
49:51 about this a while ago.
49:53
49:53 >> I don't know what episode he asked me
49:55
49:55 about this on,
49:56
49:56 >> but he's like, "Did you get this? Did
49:58
49:58 you get that?"
49:59
49:59 >> Um,
49:59
49:59 >> and I think I think I know what he was
50:02
50:02 talking about, but maybe not. Here we
50:03
50:03 go. I'm kicking this off the September
50:05
50:05 1st leading into the spooky season with
50:07
50:07 none other than
50:11
50:11 >> Ah, there he is. Ghost face.
50:14
50:14 >> Yeah, it's Target Con.
50:17
50:17 >> It's not just It's the Ghost Face. What
50:19
50:19 are with the cracks in his face or what?
50:21
50:21 Whatever those things are right there.
50:22
50:22 But that is the Funko Conface. One of
50:26
50:26 the newer ones that was released this
50:27
50:27 year and uh pretty sick. So, uh, this is
50:31
50:31 just the start leading into the spooky
50:34
50:34 season. There's a bunch of stuff coming,
50:36
50:36 let me tell you.
50:37
50:37 >> Oh, yeah. Uh, Joshua, while I show off
50:40
50:40 my fun finds, uh, because it's going to
50:41
50:41 take me a little bit here, but do you
50:43
50:43 want to look up the value on that one,
50:44
50:44 or do you know the value on that one?
50:46
50:46 >> I don't know the value, but I'll look it
50:47
50:47 up. I mean, I could look it up quick.
50:49
50:49 >> Look it up. Look up the value because I
50:50
50:50 have to introduce what I'm about to show
50:51
50:51 off right now. So, for my fun find,
50:54
50:54 everybody, I found these new blind
50:56
50:56 boxes. I'm on a blind box [ __ ] kick.
50:58
50:58 It's almost disturbing. Uh, I need I
51:00
51:00 have a problem. I need to stop. Uh, but
51:03
51:03 I want to show you what I could be
51:05
51:05 getting and what I kind of want. So,
51:07
51:07 here you go, buddy. Here's what I This
51:08
51:08 is the blind box that I found. This is
51:10
51:10 in honor of Pixar's cars. This is series
51:12
51:12 number three on these little diecast
51:14
51:14 cars. Uh, and I'm very, very excited.
51:17
51:17 There are a few that I want, and by a
51:19
51:19 few, I mean kind of all of them. Uh, but
51:22
51:22 in particular, I want the both Lightning
51:24
51:24 McQueens. I would like uh Ramon uh his
51:29
51:29 wife and then I want Hippie in honor of
51:32
51:32 Joshua. And the other ones I'm kind of
51:34
51:34 just like whatever, you know. So, I have
51:36
51:36 two of them with me right now that I'm
51:39
51:39 going to open up here uh for everybody.
51:41
51:41 And this is what they look like. They're
51:42
51:42 very uh very small boxes. That's a very
51:46
51:46 small box.
51:47
51:47 >> Okay.
51:48
51:48 >> I haven't opened them yet, so they're
51:49
51:49 still in their packaging. So, I'm just
51:50
51:50 going to pop them open because I'm very
51:53
51:53 excited. So again, we're five. I I
51:55
51:55 really want to pull a Lightning McQueen.
51:58
51:58 Uh because [ __ ] Lightning, dude.
51:60
51:60 Lightning [ __ ] McQueen. Yeah,
52:02
52:02 sorry. And he's kind of stuck in here.
52:04
52:04 All right, here you go. First one. Oh
52:06
52:06 [ __ ] Joshua. We did it. Did you get the
52:09
52:09 lightning?
52:09
52:09 >> We got the Lightning.
52:10
52:10 >> Lightning McQueen. Ka.
52:13
52:13 >> Wow.
52:14
52:14 >> Lightning [ __ ] McQueen. Look at
52:16
52:16 that. Boom.
52:17
52:17 >> All right. But I do got one more, so I'm
52:19
52:19 kind of excited. Uh show off. I'll go
52:21
52:21 ahead and [ __ ] bust out this one now.
52:23
52:23 Here we go. So, now we got to we got to
52:25
52:25 hope for a hippie for Joshua because
52:27
52:27 Joshua is all about the hippie life. So,
52:31
52:31 all about the uh the herbal herbal
52:34
52:34 substances. Here we go, buddy.
52:37
52:37 >> Absolutely. We did not get uh we did not
52:39
52:39 get hippie. We got this weird looking
52:40
52:40 dude. Uh number 93.
52:43
52:43 >> Still respect that though.
52:44
52:44 >> Still respectable.
52:44
52:44 >> That's a good one.
52:45
52:45 >> Respectable.
52:46
52:46 >> Yeah, but you know, still disappointing.
52:47
52:47 It's like one of those uh filler chases,
52:49
52:49 you know, filler filler cards. So, but
52:51
52:51 we did get lightning, so I'm happy about
52:53
52:53 that. Beautiful [ __ ] Lightning
52:55
52:55 McQueen. Kachcha. Oh, Joshua. Joshua.
52:59
52:59 >> Yes, sir. Yes.
53:00
53:00 >> Do Do you hear that?
53:02
53:02 >> I think I I think I hear a little bit of
53:04
53:04 thunder. But you can't have thunder,
53:07
53:07 Joshua. Without lightning.
53:12
53:12 Hey. Well, hey, there you go.
53:14
53:14 >> There you go, everybody. Actually, one
53:15
53:15 more thing before we One more thing
53:17
53:17 before you give me that. I was supposed
53:18
53:18 to show off I was supposed to show this
53:19
53:19 off last week because I was all decked
53:21
53:21 out in my pirate themes and [ __ ] like
53:23
53:23 that. Uh but I do have another piece of
53:24
53:24 artwork that I want to show off. Uh this
53:26
53:26 is another piece of art by Justin
53:29
53:29 Hillgrove. Uh I'm just completely sing
53:32
53:32 over his [ __ ] Uh but this is it right
53:34
53:34 here. This one is called Sea Party and
53:37
53:37 it is just a bunch of beautiful mermaids
53:40
53:40 uh having a little tea party with a
53:42
53:42 skull. So there you go. Love this piece
53:44
53:44 of work right here.
53:45
53:45 >> It's pretty legit.
53:46
53:46 >> I like that. Beautiful. So, there you
53:49
53:49 go. I'm all done. That's it. It's all I
53:50
53:50 got. Show and tell's over, everybody.
53:52
53:52 Joshua, how much would that How much
53:53
53:53 would
53:54
53:54 >> It's never over.
53:55
53:55 >> Okay. So, I I ended up getting that uh
53:58
53:58 at Target, I believe.
53:59
53:59 >> And uh currently it is I got it for
54:03
54:03 around like what 14 normally like 14.99
54:05
54:05 to like 10 bucks at Target. So, but
54:07
54:07 currently the value right now what it is
54:10
54:10 going for is on eBay is $30.79.
54:15
54:15 >> Yeah, dude. There you go. Hell yeah.
54:18
54:18 >> Doubled doubled the money. Double the
54:19
54:19 money.
54:20
54:20 >> Yeah.
54:20
54:20 >> I wish I would have done a pop-up for
54:22
54:22 that, but yeah, I looked up my phone.
54:23
54:23 It's right there.
54:23
54:23 >> Nice.
54:23
54:23 >> There you go. Go.
54:24
54:24 >> Yeah, dude.
54:25
54:25 >> Perfect.
54:26
54:26 >> Mhm.
54:26
54:26 >> All right, my guy. Shall we uh end this
54:29
54:29 episode? Give people a fortune, some
54:31
54:31 lucky numbers. What do you want to do?
54:32
54:32 What do you got?
54:34
54:34 >> Yes. And uh the phone has continued to
54:38
54:38 ring and I will let it ring. And uh but
54:42
54:42 who's not calling is Misfortune. So, I
54:45
54:45 had to go out and buy some more,
54:46
54:46 everybody.
54:47
54:47 >> Oh, [ __ ] Here we go.
54:49
54:49 >> Get some more, please. At some point.
54:52
54:52 Um, we're doing a little bit different.
54:54
54:54 I got the Fortunes against humanity
54:56
54:56 >> uh uh cookies and then I have the Dirty
54:59
54:59 Dozen batch. So, you can get these as a
55:00
55:00 as a two pack. Uh, pretty fun, pretty
55:03
55:03 awesome. So, I don't know, Sean. Should
55:04
55:04 we hit it with a a misfortune because we
55:07
55:07 haven't done one of these in a while or
55:08
55:08 or a fortune against humanity, I should
55:11
55:11 say. And then um
55:13
55:13 >> yeah, let's do No, let's do a Fortune
55:14
55:14 Against Humanity. Why Why even wait?
55:16
55:16 It's the start of a new month. Let's do
55:17
55:17 Let's do a new one.
55:19
55:19 >> Let's pop it off, man. We're going to
55:20
55:20 grab this right off the top. I don't
55:22
55:22 know if any of you guys remember. It's
55:24
55:24 been such a long time since we've done a
55:26
55:26 fortunes against three weeks. It's been
55:29
55:29 a while.
55:30
55:30 >> It's been a minute. It's been a minute.
55:32
55:32 Um let's crack this. Is this a nonstale
55:35
55:35 cookie?
55:37
55:37 >> Oh. All right.
55:38
55:38 >> Pretty good snap.
55:40
55:40 >> All right.
55:41
55:41 Snap on that one.
55:43
55:43 >> All right. Once again, this is a
55:44
55:44 fortunes against humanity misfortune
55:47
55:47 cookie to kick off this September 1st.
55:50
55:50 And it's a it's a paragraph of a read.
55:52
55:52 So
55:52
55:52 >> Oh [ __ ] Here we go.
55:53
55:53 >> Let's get ready for this.
55:55
55:55 >> All right. Here is your misfortune for
55:57
55:57 uh episode uh 149, September 1st.
56:01
56:01 >> Help. I'm being held prisoner in a
56:04
56:04 fortune cookie factory. Also, I'm being
56:08
56:08 anally probed.
56:11
56:11 What do you think they were being probed
56:13
56:13 while they were writing that or like
56:15
56:15 after they wrote that?
56:17
56:17 >> I have no idea. But that kicks off the
56:19
56:19 uh fortunes against humanity collection.
56:22
56:22 Everybody stay tuned for more of those.
56:25
56:25 >> You know what's you know what's also
56:26
56:26 very fun about that is that last week we
56:28
56:28 talked about Disclosure Day which was
56:30
56:30 about aliens and this week, you know, it
56:33
56:33 kind of summed it all up again. You
56:34
56:34 know, probing, right? And I'm sure we're
56:36
56:36 going to be talking more alien talk in
56:38
56:38 the coming weeks. thanks to uh spooky
56:40
56:40 season. So, there's
56:42
56:42 >> Oh, yeah. Absolutely. You're right about
56:44
56:44 that.
56:44
56:44 >> All right, but let me give people their
56:46
56:46 lucky numbers for the week. Feel free to
56:47
56:47 use them for whatever nefarious reasons
56:49
56:49 you would like. And if you win, come get
56:50
56:50 some shirts, please. It means a lot. And
56:53
56:53 I can't afford to live on just pennies a
56:56
56:56 day. I'm not one of those Sarah Mlacklin
56:58
56:58 kids or pets. Uh but your seven lucky
57:01
57:01 numbers for the week are as followed. 14
57:04
57:04 21 34 41 66 6 and 19. Excuse me. Uh,
57:11
57:11 once again, your seven lucky numbers are
57:14
57:14 14, 21, 34, 41, 66, 6, and 19.
57:21
57:21 There you go, buddy. Uh, I think all
57:24
57:24 that's left is to just end this episode
57:27
57:27 with one of your award-winning
57:30
57:30 uh solo monologues for Monday
57:33
57:33 motivation. Buddy, what do you what do
57:34
57:34 you got to say to the people?
57:37
57:37 Hey, well, what's up everybody? Happy
57:39
57:39 Monday. And I would love to hit you with
57:41
57:41 something motivational and and uh why
57:44
57:44 would I do it any less? So Sean and
57:46
57:46 everybody listening, I just want to say
57:49
57:49 let's make this a wonderful week. Come
57:52
57:52 check out the website. It's September
57:54
57:54 1st and we got some new merch on there.
57:56
57:56 Uh like Sean said in this episode, if
57:58
57:58 you didn't hear, you got to go back to
57:59
57:59 it. Um we can't work on pennies, we do
58:02
58:02 work on dollars. So, come check out the
58:04
58:04 website and we love all of you guys and
58:06
58:06 we will see you next week on episode
58:08
58:08 150. Can you believe it? 150 episodes
58:11
58:11 with these two guys.
58:11
58:11 >> I can't believe it. It's too many. It's
58:13
58:13 way too many.
58:15
58:15 >> Joshua, thank you for those wonderful
58:18
58:18 words of motivation. And now, like we do
58:20
58:20 every week, I can't leave you without
58:22
58:22 this. So, Joshua, did you hear
58:25
58:25 locksmiths still work on Labor Day?
58:28
58:28 >> I did not. No. Joshua, they're key
58:33
58:33 workers.
58:36
58:36 So, ladies and gentlemen, we will see
58:39
58:39 you next week. The deuces
59:07
59:07 Did you poop it?
59:08
59:08 >> Yeah.
59:09
59:09 >> Is it going to bother you that I have to
59:11
59:11 copy and paste like a couple things real
59:12
59:12 quick?
59:12
59:12 >> No, it isn't. Cuz I started a new
59:15
59:15 recording because now this will be the
59:17
59:17 background stuff, the ending, if you
59:19
59:19 will, to most people's sadness.
59:23
59:23 To their stuff.
59:24
59:24 >> Ending. The ending to most people's
59:25
59:25 sadness.
59:26
59:26 >> Yes. Yeah, because this is the
59:28
59:28 >> or would it be? No, it' be the beginning
59:30
59:30 of most people's sadness because this is
59:32
59:32 like the last thing that they see which
59:33
59:33 is really sad.
59:35
59:35 >> You know, it's like when people write
59:36
59:36 movies, you know, like people make
59:37
59:37 movies, they usually film like the
59:39
59:39 ending like towards the front of the
59:40
59:40 movie, you know? This is exactly like
59:42
59:42 that. We're filming the end of the
59:44
59:44 movie. Like people have already watched
59:46
59:46 the movie. People have already seen the
59:48
59:48 shenanigans and the fun. And I really
59:50
59:50 hope it was fun because I took a lot of
59:51
59:51 time and a lot of effort on what you
59:53
59:53 just saw. So, you're welcome, internet.
